The duo of Richard Davies and Eric Matthews, also known as Cardinal , just released their second album "Hymns" - 18 years after the band's debut album and have announced their first ever tour as a band. One of the stops on the short tour is at Strange Matter on Monday, May 14. Davies felt that the time had come to bring these songs into a live setting for the first time. Earlier in the year Cardinal, the duo of Richard Davies and Eric Matthews, released their first album in nearly two decades. Now, we have the announcement that a handful of live dates will be undertaken in May. "These songs are special to a lot of people, and more importantly, they are special to me," explained Davies. Ryan Adams will release an iTunes Session EP on April 24th via EMI. Recorded earlier this year at the historic Capitol Studios in Hollywood, the eight-track effort features cuts from across Adams' career, including the Whiskeytown-era “Houses On The Hill" and "Lucky Now", from last year's Ashes & Fire .
