Last night at Carnegie Hall in New York City, 21 acts from an assortment of musical backgrounds came together to pay tribute to The Rolling Stones at a charity event called Hot Rocks 1964 - 1971 put together by impresario Michael Dorf. I knew I moved to New York for a reason when I walked into the press entrance to Carnegie Hall and waited in line, slightly thunderstruck, next to James Blake and Antony Hegarty. I am kicking myself right now, wishing I had copped a ticket to see Jay-Z perform at Carnegie Hall. Now that I have missed out on the first night, and I most certainly will not be able to cough up several hundred bucks to see him tonight, the best we can do is catch some of the footage. Jay-Z played a special show at New York City's Carnegie Hall last night.  According to MTV , the set included over 30 songs, guest appearances by Nas and Alicia Keys, as well as Hov going into the balcony to finish his set.  From all the tweets and talk, I'm sure this was a really dope concert.
