The first-ever Catalpa Festival is set to take place on Randall's Island in New York City on July 28th and 29th boasting a lineup that features HT faves The Black Keys, Umphrey's McGee, Snoop Dogg and TV on the Radio. Today, event organizers added another batch of bands to the event - Girl Talk, Cold War Kids, Matt & Kim, Hercules And Love Affair, Matisyahu, Dirty Heads, The Sheepdogs and Hook N' Sling. The New York City summer festival scene became more crowded today with the announcement that the inaugural Catalpa Festival will take place at Randall's Island on July 28 and 29.
