Consequence of Sound has presented its fair share of events in recent years, but they've always been restricted to certain regions of the country. That's about to change. In a CoS first, we've teamed up with Modern Art Records for a nationwide tour featuring three of the label's premiere acts: Miniature Tigers , Geographer , and The Chain Gang of 1974 . Tweet vaso link From that same DVR draining escapade I mentioned previously, I came across this alarming video when viewing MTV's Subterranean program. I had never heard of the band beforehand, but upon watching their video, I greatly enjoyed the all around experience. The video is charming and quite endearing, and I rather liked the song as well. Quite quickly I began to lament my delay in viewing this particular episode of Subterranean.

White Arrows and The Chain Gang of 1974 opened for The Naked and Famous to a packed TLA and they killed it. White Arrows took the stage first and they rocked very stylish Hawaiian shirts. I went to see Tapes 'n Tapes late last week in Denver. Well, actually, I went to see The Chain Gang of 1974 who was opening for Tapes 'n Tapes. My intuition was right (though the headliner was good as well).
