Childish Gambino and Beck were a combination that we were never expecting to have happen, but somehow it has. As it turns out, “Silk Pillow” is the best Gambino track, that he’s recently released. Over an ever-changing piano and synth beat, Glover finally calms down a bit and starts making sense. Beck is doing his best rap-sung take, and somehow doesn’t feel out of place on this. We're not sure if Childish Gambino is making a play for Lil B's crown, but he's certainly been busy recently, and today the trend continues as he's hooked up with Beck for 'Silk Pillow', which see's Mr. Hansen rap. Yes, rap Beck is back, but will he ever top the line "Mmmm... tweak my nipple / Champagne and ripple / Shamans go cripple / My sales go tripple," from 'Hollywood Freaks'? One day.
