I’m still not completely on the Childish Gambino bandwagon. There’s just something about his music that just doesn’t quite click with me — and I’m still struggling to pinpoint just what that is. But one thing is for sure: this guy knows smart lyrics. Nothing deep obviously (there’s only so much that can be said about money, sex, etc.) but there’s still some lyrical articulation that continues to blow me away, only to be magnified by Mr. Donald Glover’s furiously passionate delivery. With Community 's new season kicking off this week, and his album on deck for a Nov. 15 release, I can't really imagine him having much free time in the coming months. A new Childish Gambino track titled "Bonfire" was recently premiered on Hot 97.
Cipha Sounds premiered this on Hot 97 yesterday, and we now have a radio rip of Childish Gambino ’s angry new single “Bonfire”. The punchlines are amazing, and needed after I started quoting ever line from “Freaks and Geeks” too much. The beat is insane too and just adds to how incredible this is. It’s pretty stunning to see how far Gambino has got as he has pretty much a cult following now. Excuse the bombs dropping, as I will get up a studio version as soon as it’s released. It’s a bonfire, turn the lights out!

The album's lead single, "Bonfire", was just debuted on NYC's Hot 97 and you can now stream it below (via Childish Gambino Fan ). According to Amazon.com , Camp will see release on November 15th.
