Mercredi 3 avril avait lieu le deuxième des trois concerts organisés par Converse pour sa nouvelle opération Get Dirty. Un concert de Breton qui a enflammé le Garage MU dans le 18e arrondissement de Paris. Dans l'hystérie générale des appareils photos jetables ont été distribués à chaque participant pour qu’ils prennent des photos pendant le Gig. Appareil photo qu'ils ont pu redonner à la fin pour que l'équipe Converse puisse les numériser et leur envoyer toutes les photos qu’ils avaient prises sur leur adresse mail directement ! As the first new music from Scottish band Texas in eight years, "The Conversation" is remarkable in it's clean, concise, uncluttered focus -- a throwback in many ways to the band's earliest soulful blues/rock beginnings. Gone are the blatant radio-friendly pop mannerisms and hipper-than-thou R+B and hip-hop distractions that spelled both commercial success and stylistic trappings. This is simply Sharleen Spiteri and band getting down to basics with some nicely raw guitar lines embellished with a little swampy back beat before unleashing its sharply-hooked singalong chorus.
