Danish post-punk band Lower has dropped a new track in promotion of some North American tour dates that they have pasted onto the cover art for this song. Observe: "Another Life" features some intensely busy drums, noisy guitars, and some really bitter vocals. The end result is enough to have me psyched for the band's debut full-length. Danish punk, post-punk, and noise rock act Iceage releases a session performance of one of my favorite tracks from their latest album, You're Nothing . Morals" is one of the most ballad-like tracks on the album, and it's the beautiful piano chords and steady march of the beat that help make it so. This session performance of the track is both fierce and passionate, and brings a little more intensity than the album version, I think. Check a review of You're Nothing below:

When it comes to bands, the ones that are a bit sheltered often end up coming off as the most genuine. Such is the case with Copenhagen punk band  Iceage . The band have just released their second full-length album  You’re Nothing  on Matador – an album which does more than just give the finger to authority, it tells a story – a very relatable story. Instead of building a narrative around characters, vocalist Elias Rønnenfelt’s hard pressed lips breathe raspy poems into the microphone with the few audible words that we can make out seeming to be [...]

Boundary-obliterating Copenhagen  quirk-pop ensemble  When Saints Go Machine are, to my ears if no others, just about the most invigorating avant-garde outfit out there. I mean people claim creationism to be dead and buried, and for genuine originality to be a thing of the past though honestly? Nobody operating contemporarily sounds a fucking thing like Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild's ceaselessly inspirational, and continually indescribable four-piece. Singularity is of course one thing, though when it's so frequently purveyed with such unerring sublimity, well, for fear of drifting off into an intensely exaggerated land of no return, I'll stop short of proclaiming [...]
