For those who didn't get their Coachella fix this year ( or didn't get tickets to next year's fest ), festival promoter Goldenvoice has a solution: the S.S. Coachella. Departing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in December, the ship sails to the Bahamas and Jamaica, and while in transit, the cruise will host performances from Pulp, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, Warpaint, El-P, Black Lips, Grimes, Cloud Nothings, and Father John Misty among others. Coachella promotors Goldenvoice have announced 2 December trips through the Caribbean featuring Pulp, Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and about 15 other acts. The SS Coachella will take place aboard the Celebrity Silhouette, a 1,000-foot 122,000-ton ship with space for 2,800 music fans. "It even has a half-acre of grass.
