Crystal Castles drops a new jam, teasing toward what should be the band's third full-length album-which may be titled III . Again, like the track " Plague " that was dropped earlier this year, vocalist Alice Glass' vocals are obscured by a low mix and loads of effects. A driving house beat brings the tempo, and bright synths swirl with hurricane force over it all. The image paired with the video above seems to be a woman in a niqab holding a man who is going through some sort of painful trauma-whether it be emotional or physical.
Praised by Sound Remedy and served by ‘BAPTISM’ from Crystal Castles, Anthony Howell feeds through a nightmarish, electro-tech catchy melody that shades on the cusp of wickedly digestive melodic-phrases and powerfully built keyboard tones.
