They already released a video for the song "Plague" and then announced a brand new album called III , out November 5th. The latest track is called "Wrath of God" and features those dark synths, distant vocals, and a gothic undertone that makes this new song irresistable. Stream and download the single below. Fresh? With its unnerving title and its recognizable nerve raking vibes, "Plague" had already gotten our eyes pealed and ears alert for more of Crystal Castles mysterious musical potion. Our waiting has come to an end. Announcing their upcoming LP, the duo just released another track in the same doomsday vein. " Wrath of God " starts out with rather optimistic notes before a droning synth comes in to introduce a rapid beat - and the trademark childlike vocals echoing in the distance.
After releasing " Plague " back in July, Crystal Castles have finally decided to tease us with their 2nd installment, " Wrath of God" , off their forthcoming album III . This time around, the Toronto duo lead in with a dreamy and haunting intro before kicking into a synth heavy, four on the floor verse helmed by front woman, Alice Glass. If any of you are looking for accompaniment through your midnight frolic through a foggy and murky graveyard, search no further than "Wrath of God." Download it below. Crystal Castles' [...]

BRAND NEW CRYSTAL CASTLES ! "Wrath Of God" comes from the album Crystal Castles (III) out digitally November 5 / physically November 6th on Last Gang Records. Press Release: "We wanted the new album to sound like a completely different and new experience," says Ethan Kath in an official statement. “We'd limit ourselves to one take on each song because we believe the first take is the rawest expression of an idea." By ditching their old synthesizers and keyboards used on I and II, Ethan enforced a “strictly no computers” rule in [...]

Not nearly as exciting to me as "Plague", but still an interesting concoction by the Crystal Castles duo. They use their familiar Nintendo sounds and distant vocals for "Wrath Of God" and it's enough to still induce a drug-lust. I used to say I didn't get Crystal Castles' music when their debut came out, but now I am highly anticipating III .
Crystal Castles today announced that their new album III will be out November 5. They also shared the second track we've heard so far from the new album (the first being "Plague" back in July). Listen to “Wrath Of God” below: Here are the duo's updated tour dates: NEW NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES ADDED. 09/27 more
Crystal Castles drops a new jam, teasing toward what should be the band's third full-length album-which may be titled III . Again, like the track " Plague " that was dropped earlier this year, vocalist Alice Glass' vocals are obscured by a low mix and loads of effects. A driving house beat brings the tempo, and bright synths swirl with hurricane force over it all. The image paired with the video above seems to be a woman in a niqab holding a man who is going through some sort of painful trauma-whether it be emotional or physical.

by Tiana Feng Crystal Castles just released a video for Plague . Nothing specialy, just some person twitching around like they're on drugs for 3 minutes.

"This new Crystal Castles song makes me wanna do drugs" is an exact quote from a text message I sent not too long ago and clearly it has the same effect to the psycho-broad in the new video for "Plague". That chick is either high on bath salts or demon possession is actually being captured on film. Holy fuck. I wanna see their show at Electric Factory next week. CRYSTAL CASTLES - PLAGUE
Canadian duo Crystal Castles unleashed the explosive, heart-palpitating " Plague " in July, and now they've released a more-than-appropriate music video starring a madwoman who writhes and thrashes around in a dimly-lit hallway as though she's possessed. Directed by Ivan Grbin, it's a series of frightening and psychotic scenes, and exactly the kind of visuals the wild track conjures up. Crystal Castles album was recently pushed back to November, but they plan to release a new single called "Wrath Of God" tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Honestly there's not very many things in this world that rustle my jimmies but one of the few happens to be walking through a cave or tunnel and running into a Zubat every three goddamn steps. Seriously, who was the one that said "Hey, let's make it so they that they run into so many Zubats they want to throw their Gameboy against the wall." Anyways, here's this week's electronic music that I enjoyed listening to. The Remixes So G.O.O.D. music's new collaboration album just leaked a couple days ago and there [...]

Crystal Castles.. get's remixed into a trap / dubstep bomb. Sound Remedy, the guy who's been featured for countless remixes on the site seriously destroyed this one. From the get go the sampling of the original synths is just insane. Enough talking, turn up the bass, enjoy!
