Two months ago, Crystal Castles dropped the assaulting, electrogoth cut " Plague ", a bombastic example of what we could expect from the duo's upcoming third LP. Now, we've got some visuals to go along with the pulsating electronic cut. Directed by Ivan Grbin, the video focuses on a seemingly possessed woman flailing her arms around in a subway tunnel. We first head Crystal Castles' goth-y, bombastic " Plague " back in July, and now, only two months later, we've got a clip to go with it. Directed by Ivan Grbin, the video depicts what looks a woman possessed, flailing violently and helplessly in an empty hallway. Then, there's an especially unnerving 30-second segment (around 1:54) that inexplicably moves the action to another woman in a ballet studio before shifting back to the original scene. This video for "Plague" been coming for a while, with screenshots being leaked months and months ago after it was being filmed in Berlin. With the announcement last week that Crystal Castles ' new, as-yet-untitled album will be out in November, this video is the first we've had from the band for a wee while so expect more actual new music from the band pretty soon (like the "Sad Eyes" track they promised us a few weeks ago).

Last weekend, Reading and Leeds Festival took place and from the sets I caught at Leeds a lot of bands were debuting new material. One of those bands was Crystal Castles . A purple haired Alice Glass ripped through a brand new track titled "Wrath of God" and up at the top you can watch the band perform the track live at Reading while below you can see them perform The band have also announced a UK tour set for November. I'm not at Reading Festival, because I am not a huge fan of mud & camping and if you didn't know it's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, which inevitably means rain (and a few times my tent was urinated on at Reading so...). Os canadianos Crystal Castles anunciaram o lançamento do seu terceiro álbum de originais que se prevê ocorra no próximo mês de Setembro. Ainda sem título definitivo, o álbum parece ter sido parcialmente produzido em Varsóvia (PL) estando agora a ser remisturado em Londres.  Por falar em Londres, foi durante um evento no Reino Unido que o duo canadiano, conhecido pelo seu estilo electro-gótico,

Kontravoid est un énième artiste masqué, avec pour l'occasion une ambiance tout à fait lugubre et assez froide. L'ex batteur de Crystal Castles Cameron Findlay (de 2007 à 2008 pour être exacte), s'est consacré à un projet solo il y a déjà plusieurs mois, Kontravoid . Un projet dark synth un peu hybride qui a su trouver sa clientèle. Il fait parler de nouveau de lui sur la toile grâce au clip de « Silent Vision » , sûrement le titre le plus torturé et inaccessible de l'album, qui se veut [...]

Alice Glass, we've missed you. While in Manchester, England for the Parklife festival, Crystal Castles performed this new song for the first time. Hopefully this means that new CC album is coming soon. It's hard to really judge the song based on the audio in this clip, but it sounds like it could be a winner.
