Kendrick Lamar, Diggy Simmons, Yelawolf, Lil B, Meek Mill, Mac Miller, Lil Twist, Fred the Godson, YG, Cyhi the Prynce and Big K.R.I.T. do their thing, showing why exactly they were chosen to be featured on what some consider to be a prestigious list and what others say is politically manipulated. Give the mixtape a listen and keep an eye out for a blogging collective [...]

When Kanye West rolls into South By Southwest and takes the stage at the Vevo Power Station this Saturday night at 11:59 p.m. , he'll be joined by a bunch of his G.O.O.D. Music family members — John Legend, Common, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Mr. Hudson, Cyhi The Prynce, Big Sean, and Mos Def will also make appearances at the inevitably overcrowded show. If you can't get in, don't sweat it too much — the all-star performance will be broadcast on Vevo on April 22, which, of course, is Good Friday.
Have not posted a lot of these because most of them have sucked. But this one lives up to my standards. Check it out.

Drumroll please.... XXL gives us the annual 'Freshmen' issue in which they predict who will be the next hip hop young gun to blow up in the next year. This year list includes Meek Mill, Diggy Simmons, Big K.R.I.T., Mac Miller, Cyhi The Prynce, Lil Twist, Yelawolf, YG, Kendrick Lamar, Lil B, & Fred The Godson. Congratulations to Philly's own Meek Mill, and the talented Big K.R.I.T., Diggy Simmons, Yelawolf and Cyhi The Prynce. The rest of the list, I am not that impressed by. What are you opinions on the new list? [...]

As of right now, this is my favorite song of the very short year. The beat, the lyrics, the people. Just all around dope. Wish Dom Kennedy was on it though, would have been that much better. 2011 is for the West Coast. Callin it now. Listen for yourself.
