Multi-instrumentalists Kitty, Daisy & Lewis released three albums (including one re-release) in three years since they began 2007. After taking 2010 off from releasing an album, the Durham siblings are back with Smoking in Heaven. Smoking in Heaven has 13 songs, all of them written by one of the siblings with a few written by all three of them. The Needle DropThanks to the people at CoS and LBYB for this one. It's a new EP from a Pittsburgh duo by the name of 1, 2, 3. And I guess that in a way, this release qualifies as children's music-well, it was written with the niece of vocalist Nic Snyder in mind. The five tracks on here are a series of bedtime tales-oh, maybe that makes it "dream pop"-which are sometimes pleasant and sometimes creepy. It's a winding dreamland of music. Enjoy! / via & via /
