Now that Fucked Up has ended its banner year, rumors of questionable origin have begun to plague the band, somewhat mimicking the early days where the band themselves deliberately disbursed misinformation. Last year found the Toronto band releasing their critically acclaimed David Comes to Life LP, a meta-concept album that tied the band themselves into a story about blowing up a factory in 1980's England. But, after the accolades came pouring in, stories of the band's demise, lead vocalists quitting, and rampant dysfunction quickly followed in the wake. [...]

Leaving the Great Hall on Wednesday night, my ears were still ringing from the intensity with which Fucked Up rocked the historic venue. Playing an uninterrupted (with the exception of a two minute break to duck tape the drum kit back together) live performance featuring all the material from their latest album release, David Comes To Life . My favorite track from F**ked Up 's David Comes To Life has now have a music video. I would have thought The Other Shoe be a continuation from Queen Of Hearts. After the singing children, we see the teacher looking far across where there is something on fire. At least we see the band in this music video. Just love the part where the song goes "I'm dying on the inside". Still have to say it's still their most accessible track on the album. [...]
