Ten Best Albums of 2011 So, the thing with my list this year is that I've been fortunate enough to have either shared a stage, been on a movie soundtrack together, recorded an album with, spent many quality years as close friends, or at the very least, created some memories over some good times with all but two of the bands represented here. There's a sad irony in the fact that the One AM Radio's video for "Everything Falls Apart" emerged this week, as the band's label Dangerbird Records retrenched , but that's shouldn't detract one bit from glitchy, slow-motion splendor of Hrishikesh Hirway's tune. On "Heaven Is Attached by a Slender Thread," the songwriter/producer's fourth album and second for Dangerbird, Hirway uses his beats as a gentle framework for his almost-too-languid pop songs.
