Chicago emcee Tremaine Johnson, AKA Tree , delivers another piece of his forthcoming album, Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out , due out for release on May 15th via Creative Control/Closed Sessions. "No Faces" not only shows off his signature scruffy flow and soft spot for bumpy and broiling "SoulTrap" beats, but also features a manic, loose-lipped verse from none other than Danny Brown . Listen to the collaboration below.

Pulling in heavy horns and low-hum beats, Constrobuz gives Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire a sample worth his thicker-than-most verses on "Noble Drew Ali." The song comes from his upcoming mixtape Kimset , which will be featuring the likes of Danny Brown , Flatbush Zombies , Heron, and more. Check out the mix below and watch out for the release of Kimset in the near future.
Detroit rapper Danny Brown 's forthcoming Old album is one of the LP's due out this year that I'm most looking forward too. His last album XXX was probably my favourite hip-hop album of 2011 and I get the feeling that, Old is going to send him stellar. Last weekend, Brown performed at Coachella music festival, debuting new tune, Dope Song , as part [...]

Although the video for Charli XCX' s new single "What I Like" featured some innocent and silly sleepover fun, the electro-pop track still features lyrics about doing the deed and getting down and dirty in the afternoon. So, it should come as no surprise that Danny Brown — who just released his own little booty track "Express Yourself" — has hopped on this remix. Listen to it below and discover what tickles the Detroit emcee. Charli XCX's [...]

I usually don't lose my shit while blogging and especially not while in public but it's hard not to get open to the sounds of Trampy X Danny Brown, the music literally demands that we do. I made it through the first minuet of "#Express Your-Self" without doing anything outside of the ordinary head bob but that didn't last. I don't know if it was the giant latte I just drank or Danny's bruising delivery but halfway through the track I TURNT UP. From the looks I got from the barista I think I have a pretty on-point cooking dance.

On a track called ‘Express Yourself,’ it’s only natural that Danny Brown would talk about sex in a way that might make Big Boi blush (mixed with copious drug use). The how-can-he-not-be-outta-breath , double-time rapping Danny adopted for previous single ‘Kush Coma’ is still on display here. Whether the amount of ridiculousness has been upped to match the delivery is purely based upon on how ridiculous you thought Danny was before. If you can embrace lines like “bounce that ass like a pogo/ Shake and roll like [...]

From Charlie Wright and the Watts, to Madonna, to NWA - you've got to Express Yourself. Danny Brown is the latest in a long line of artsits to realize this, and just dropped this new track featuring production by Trampy (via MissInfo ). Brown cites Diplo's booty track "Express Yourself" as influence for the song, and well that's pretty clear from the onset ("Hopped in a handstand/bounced her ass in slow motion" for one). Listen to the Detroit rapper go, ahem, double time on the track below. [...]

WARNING: headphones and/or subs are essential to fully comprehend the insanity of this instrumental, thus allowing Danny Brown's explosiveness to sink deeper into your cochleas. Some folks aren't Danny Brown fans, criticizing his out-of-the-box producer choices as well as his overall rap style. To them, I say "get your ignorant ass head out of your wide gapped bum and OPEN YOUR EARS". The Detroit MC has provided us with another file to add to our iTunes libraries that will do anything but fit in with the rest of your playlists. Yeah, Danny doesn't do that "fitting [...]

A day after Danny Brown brought us the Skywlkr -produced " Kush Coma ," XXX producer Paul White revealed his recent collaboration with rapper on his upcoming "Street Lights" 12". Noticeably darker than the aforementioned "Kush Coma," Brown turns his serious voice on over lifting war drums and murder stories. For a guy that might come off as goofy as times, it's hard to forget his real Detroit upbringing. Check out "Street Lights" below and head over to White's Bandcamp to get a pre-order of the 12".

UK producer Paul White and Danny Brown have teamed up once again for collaborative track, "Street Lights". It's a stressful military march, which finds Brown once again mouthing off about the troubles in the Motor City, dropping a "healthy mix of old-fashioned bragging and flashes of nostalgia", as a press release notes. A limited 123 vinyl of the track is currently available for pre-orders via Bandcamp . You can also stream it below. White previously produced Brown's rather excellent 2011 sophomore album, XXX , and they'll continue that relationship for select tracks [...]

As he gets ready to release OLD later this year, internet rap savant Danny Brown gives us another sampling for what's to come in "Kush Coma". Produced by Bruiser Bridgade house producer Skywlkr, Danny rips through with ethereal and drug-induced rhymes of fury over sleek, spacey synths. It is said that the final version of this song will include A$AP Rocky for the album. Brown also premieres the latest single from the hilarious Bruiser-affiliates Zelooperz in "Hit A Lick", with adlibs that would make Lil B and 2 Chainz shed tears of joy. Two great gems for [...]

Danny Brown just dropped an early rendition of "Kush Coma", one of the many cuts off his forthcoming full-length, Old . The Detroit rapper starts at 90 mph, ripping through the Galaga -sounding beat as if he's a pissed off gamer, trapped in an old NES machine. As Pitchfork points out , DJ Skywlkr produced the track, which will eventually feature ASAP Rocky on the album version. Stream it below. In related news, Brown tweeted yesterday that Old will hit ears around the same [...]

"CUZ I'M STEALIN ALL THEY HOOOOOOOS" Detroit MacDaddy Danny Brown is back with new music to slap in your face. Shiiit, with a sock from this music you might knock your front teeth out and rock a gap like Dan. The Detroit MC puts his two cents in about the MTV "Hottest MC" fiasco and shows us why he damn well deserves a position on that list with his song #HottestMC . The Adderall Admiral isn't the only rapper in the game to speak out, as both Kanye and A$AP Rocky have voiced their displeasure [...]

Danny Brown is back ready to stir up the pot with his newest track "#HottestMC" prod. by Harry Fraud. First shouts to Danny & Harry for this dope track (Harry w/ the Flute sample). So, MTV put out that list and it seems Danny is a little upset. But rappers, can we all please stop taking MTV lists seriously... Unless you want to be featured in between Teen Mom 2 re-runs...Either way this track is hot, so maybe the anger is good for this situation.

Like Kanye West , Detroit rapper Danny Brown has some issues with MTV's annual "Hottest MC" countdown . However, rather than call in to a radio station, Brown vents his frustrations in a one-off track entitled, "#HottestMC". With producer Harry Fraud delivering a beat of a sauntering guitar, Brown asserts himself as the "Greatest Rapper Ever" , viciously assaulting inferior MCs without a hint of his otherwise goofy disposition ("Your rhymes are cheap/You release your poor product/You're a servant in my world/No rap gods curse you/When judgment day's upon you/Reality's a virtue"). Oh man, is he [...]

Today we get a new track from DJ Muggs x Danny Brown off Muggs' upcoming Bass For Your Face LP, which is due January 15th on Ultra Records. Judging by Muggs' words in our interview with him a couple months back, this one is pretty self explanatory. Hit the jump for the stream. (Pigeons&Planes)

The most anticipated track off A$AP Rocky's highly anticipated debut album LongLiveA$AP was released today-and it's a motherfucking star-studded banger. Featuring Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, and Big K.R.I.T., 1Train is a massive collabo with a hell of an instrumental and even doper bars coming at you left and right every second of the song. While multiple verses have caused me to shit myself with excitement like K-Dot's delivery, Danny's energy, and Joey's flow, what really gets my pants stiff is the [...]

Today, Fool's Gold Records and its founders A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs celebrate five years in the business with their inaugural Loosies Compilation. The 22-track rap collection features a who's who of the hip-hop world, including Action Bronson, Freddie Gibbs, Danny Brown, and Flatbush Zombies, with production by folks like Chuck English, araabMUZIK, and Party Supplies. The "Piss Test" remix , which we posted not too long ago, is also included. Stream the compilation in its entirety below, or purchase it here .

When I woke up this morning, I was confronted by the following list of MCs: A$AP Rocky; Kendrick Lamar; Joey Bada$$; Yelawolf; Danny Brown; Action Bronson; and Big K.R.I.T. Through bleary eyes, I assumed someone has decided to share their list of 2012's best MCs (being that time of the year where everyone goes list crazy). But no, it's better than that: it is, my dear readers, the line up for A$AP Rocky's new tune, '1 Train', from his soon-to-be-released debut LP proper, LongLiveA$AP . Rumours about '1 Train' 'have [...]
