18 year old, Baton Rouge producer, suicideyear , has been blowing up my Twitter timeline all week. After releasing his debut mixtape, Japan , my internet/meme/nerd world (whatever Trees calls it), went apeshit. Since most JTTS contributors and readers are still stressing about sour (2013) Wu Tang news (go figure), I can see y'all ain't ready, but personally I can say that Japan knocks and this kid will undoubtedly shine. If you're as high as me, join me in listening, as we ascend beyond the tallest of cloud mountains. Meet your angelic concubines and eat more [...]

While we’re starting to get goth-pop princess Charli XCX ’s debut album True Romance on full blast here at HCM HQ, we’re loving nothing more than this Danny Brown-assisted remix of “What I Like”. With the original having our title of the best pop song of 2013 so far, our eyes have little hearts in them at the moment.

We've posted the sounds of LA producer and Warm Brew collaborator Al B Smoov on MJF before a few times . I'm feeling this remix of Danny Brown's "I Will." Without further hyperbole, peep game: For more check out Al B on instagram and get familiar with his sounds. MP3: Danny Brown - "I Will" (Al B Smoov Remix) |

when i was in H-Town on the "Worst of Both Worlds" ... The big homey OG Ron C came thru and hit me wit my own personal copy of "Blunt After Blunt" Chopped Not Slopped .. and i just had to share it with u guys
In honor of the release of her new album, True Romance , today in the UK, Charli XCX decided to unleash the remix to her standout track, "What I Like" featuring Danny Brown . Charming and aggressive are two words that usually come to mind when describing Charli XCX's music, and coincidentally enough, those words could also be applied to the eccentric Danny Brown as well. Danny's proven over the past few weeks , that he's not afraid to hop on just about anything, as he's gone on a promotional tear in [...]

Saiu hoje True Romance , novo álbum da Charli XCX ( Stream aqui ). Pra acompanhar o lançamento, a cantora liberou também no seu soundcloud um remix do single What I Like com versos do rapper Danny Brown. Confira o resultado logo abaixo.

As Potholes points out, Danny Brown comes off less like a creepy pervert on this remix of Charli XCX's "What I Like." We're just glad Brooke Candy didn't get the nod. Listen to the "What I Like" remix below: Charli XCX's True Romance tomorrow. You can stream the project now on Pitchfork. MP3: Charli XCX – "What I Like (Remix)" ft. Danny Brown |

"What I Like" and its accompanying video made for a solid single package. They felt like a pop artist trying out an interesting aesthetic, putting it on and strutting around a bit. Bringing Danny Brown on board for the remix gives the song the bit edge it had previously been missing, and may have stopped you from completely buying into its original iteration. The detroit emcee's performance is vintage Brown, and has the residual effect of making us excited for his album, Old , which is due out sometime later this year. Charli's debut [...]

British prog-pop songstress Charli XCX's debut album True Romance is out today - and accompanied with the big release is this remix of the catchy and wave single "What I Like" featuring Danny Brown. The edgy and quick-witted lyricist has killed it over non-traditional production in the past , and you can add this bit to the list - enjoy below and purchase Charli's album here . If you follow Danny Brown on Twitter-why wouldn't you?-you have no doubt noticed that he's a huge fan of U.K. pop-ish artist Charli XCX . With that in mind, you have to imagine it's a dream come true for the Detroit MC to hop on the official remix of her latest cut, "What I Like". He's offers a less bonkers verse here, taking on a more lover-man role stating that he'd like to just hang out, enjoy a glass of wine or two, and let things happen. It's an intriguing turn from an otherwise hyper-sexual Brown and [...]

Paul White and Danny Brown seem an unlikely pair: the enigmatic English producer with a penchant for psych and prog-rock, and the eccentric Detroit rap star whose gleeful tales of sex- and drug-fuelled exploits have been met with massive acclaim. But three tracks together on Brown’s breakthrough XXX (Pitchfork Top 20 Albums of 2011) and one on White’s Rapping With Paul White helped establish their producer-MC relationship as one of the finest in hip-hop today. Street Lights might be their best work together yet. In Street Lights, Paul White ratchets up the tension as his pounding war drums, [...]

U.K. production duo Evil Nine had one of our favorite collaborations with Danny Brown last year in " The Black Brad Pitt ". And to give the track some new life, they decided they would just remix it themselves. Both their production and Brown's vocals get chopped up, drenched in codeine, and everything else you can think of on here. This sounds very much like what I would want to play if the world was ending and I was tripping balls.

Fool's Gold Records' frontman A-trak just released the highly anticipated video for his single Piss Test. The track was originally released with only Juicy J and Danny Brown providing vocals, however upon its re-release on the Foolie's Mixtape Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, and El-P added versus while Flosstradamus added some trap to the beat. Check out the official video below:
A-Trak's "Piss Test" has been remixed, because the original featuring Juicy J and Danny Brown apparently was not wild enough. Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, El-P and Flosstradamus hop on for the very intoxicated and "trippy" remix. The whole track is nuts, but El-P's fury on the last verse makes everyone else look like amateurs. Check the video below. This is a part of the Fools Gold rap compilation, Loosies , which is available now. Read more articles like " A-Trak - "Piss Test" (Remix) f. Juicy [...]

Noah D drops a new remix of his favorite Danny Brown track "Blunt After Blunt," off the XXX album. iTunes: XXX (Deluxe Version) - Danny Brown http://www.noahdmusic.com/blun tafterbluntrmx/

There's a reason why Danny Brown is remixed so often. A good reason. Danny's flow is like a wild animal, and seeing how it lives in different surroundings is as fascinating as seeing a rogue bear wreak havoc on some small town in Montana. No matter what kind of pandemonium you throw underneath a Danny Brown flow, his delivery will overpower it. This Noah D remix highlights that undoubtedly. With brash synths, unapologetic bass, and the sinister nature of the original turned up a few levels, there aren't many rappers that wouldn't sound completely [...]
