The Chi meets the D on the latest single from rapper-producer Tree 's upcoming album, Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out . He's teamed up with none other than Danny Brown , who sounds fantastic over the soul-infused instrumental. Brown is also a choice complement to Tree's throaty, weathered vocals and, really, I'm just glad this happened before everyone was all like, "Why haven't these collaborated yet?!" Well, they have, and it's great. Listen to "No Faces" below and maybe you, too, can become immaculate with the spatula. SSII drops May 15 [...]

Long Beach, Calif. rapper Joey Fatts is getting ready to drop his new project, Chipper Jones Vol. 2 . And in case you didn't know about dude, that's all about to change thanks to "Choppa". Fatts landing a guest verse from Danny Brown or A$AP Rocky would be enough for us to be interested. But both? All three are on their shit-talkin' tip here, though unfortunately Brown's only on hook duties. Still, that 808 Mafia beat is intense/haunting enough to deserve some play tonight and throughout the coming weekend. Listen below and [...]

And I smooooooke! OG Ron C slices and screws with Danny Brown 's hit " Blunt After Blunt " off XXX and the end result is nuts. The Adderall Admiral has linked up with the Chop God before on the Ratchet Shit Vol. 1 EP , which was hosted by the OG himself, so perhaps this isn't the last time we hear from Ron and Dan? Ron and Dan's Excellent Adventure? Ok, go listen to the track below.

If you follow Danny Brown on Twitter-why wouldn't you?-you have no doubt noticed that he's a huge fan of U.K. pop-ish artist Charli XCX . With that in mind, you have to imagine it's a dream come true for the Detroit MC to hop on the official remix of her latest cut, "What I Like". He's offers a less bonkers verse here, taking on a more lover-man role stating that he'd like to just hang out, enjoy a glass of wine or two, and let things happen. It's an intriguing turn from an otherwise hyper-sexual Brown and [...]

Danny Brown has forged a strong musical bond with London producer Paul White. And the two have returned collaborative favors across all of their latest projects, be it XXX , Rapping With Paul White , or Old . Their latest work together comes in the form of "Street Lights", a new single from White that boasts includes a wig-flipping remix from Dabrye. Yeah , it's felt like forever since we've heard some new tunes from Dabrye, who here transforms " Street Lights " into a stark, synth-heavy affair. [...]

There are few rappers out right now who can match the sheer awesomeness of a Danny Brown guest verse . Even when he's not 100 percent ripping apart a beat, he's still bringing his seemingly unmatchable energy and at least a couple of gut-busting punchlines. Sure enough, that's just what he does here on "Oh Lord", an erratic new track from Portland, Ore. rapper Cassow. We're not terribly familiar with his output, but we get the feeling we might have to dig deeper into his work after hearing this cut. You can stream [...]

I usually don't lose my shit while blogging and especially not while in public but it's hard not to get open to the sounds of Trampy X Danny Brown, the music literally demands that we do. I made it through the first minuet of "#Express Your-Self" without doing anything outside of the ordinary head bob but that didn't last. I don't know if it was the giant latte I just drank or Danny's bruising delivery but halfway through the track I TURNT UP. From the looks I got from the barista I think I have a pretty on-point cooking dance.
![[Listen] Danny Brown - "Express Yourself"](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4872818_lg.jpg)
Danny Brown took to Twitter to unleash a new track titled "Express Yourself" which you may recognise the name of if you're a fan of Diplo, or if you follow him on Twitter. Maybe just the hashtag #ExpressYourself. You know what I mean, him retweeting numerous girls on the daily twerking and what not. Apparently Danny made this for the " ratchets " and through it together pretty quickly after hearing the beat on Soundcloud. It's produced by Trampy and you can check it out below.
It probably won't be on Old , but it's new Danny Brown on a Friday. "Shouts out to Diplo/MajorLazer for inspiring this song." The inspiration makes sense, and it's actually somewhat hard to believe Diplo and Brown haven't come together in an official capacity. Brown's unhinged flow seems like it would be perfect for Diplo's irreverent production style, and this "#ExpressYourself" offers a bit of evidence to that point. Trampy's beat suggests the craziness of baile funk, and Brown seems very much at [...]

You know Danny Brown 's more ratchet, off-the-wall party tracks? Well, that's what we have here with "Express Yourself", a brand-new collaboration with producer Trampy. The backing track is a minimalist, trappy affair that perfectly suits the Detroit rapper's call for all the ladies to express themselves. We've heard some tunes like this from him before, but hey, we can all use some more crazy twerking joints in our lives. You can stream the Diplo/Major Lazer-inspired joint below.

West Coast rapper K.Flay might have recently released her Ghost mixtape, but that's not stopping her from dropping even more music. She just shared a new banger, "Hail Mary", that finds her teaming with the king of collaborating aka Danny Brown . Armed with a heavy beat from Felix Cartel, the two MCs strike a sweet-snarling juxtaposition and Brown absolutely loses his mind on his guest verse. Seriously, he's absolutely off the wall (no MJ) and it's wonderful.

With Danny Brown referencing his XXX banger "Blunt After Blunt" on his latest track " Kush Coma ", it's only fitting that we're hearing this new remix from Simon SMTHNG today. He's taken "Blunt After Blunt" and transformed it into something that even better complements Danny's bars. That whole drop before he spits "Bitch I ain't finished" is so perfect it hurts. You can download/strema the remix below.
On "Street Lights", English producer Paul White has created a hazy, paranoid sonic playground for Danny Brown to occupy, and he does so with ridiculous ease. Just yesterday Brown showed off his handiwork with "Kush Coma," where he dominated a racing 100MPH beat from Skywalkr . It's safe to say Danny Brown is on a roll. Read more articles like " Paul White + Danny Brown - "Street Lights" " on PMA - Pretty Much Amazing . [...]

Over the past few years, Detroit spitter Danny Brown and U.K. producer Paul White have forged a strong musical friendship. That's led to collaborations on Brown's XXX and upcoming Old along with White's Rapping With Paul White and upcoming Street Lights . Early this morning, the producer shared the title track off his latest project, which finds the Motor City spitter flexing his always-entertaining and unique style over menacing guitars and heavy-as-it-gets percussion. You can stream and/or download the track below and pre-order [...]
Danny Brown , he of machine gun flow, let loose a new track called "Kush Coma" that'll appear in a more fleshed-out form on the emcee's forthcoming, much anticipated album, Old . The track is, for lack of a better word, utterly ferocious, many thanks to a manic beat from producer Skywlkr . Give it a listen below: Old , according to Brown will be released sometime in August, though nothing is set in stone. While you wait, be sure to check out Brown's fierce live [...]

U.K. production duo Evil Nine had one of our favorite collaborations with Danny Brown last year in " The Black Brad Pitt ". And to give the track some new life, they decided they would just remix it themselves. Both their production and Brown's vocals get chopped up, drenched in codeine, and everything else you can think of on here. This sounds very much like what I would want to play if the world was ending and I was tripping balls.
It's that time of year when MTV counts down its list of the world's top 10 hottest MCs right now, and Danny Brown's pissed. Whether he's on the list or not (we'll find out tomorrow) he's not feeling the whole thing, so he recorded a one-off diss track decrying the kind of major rap stars that are likely to make the countdown. It's a great song - that Harry Fraud beat is one of our favorites in recent memory, and Danny presides over the whole thing with classic smart, snappy, bratty rhymes; unfortunately [...]

Danny Brown is back ready to stir up the pot with his newest track "#HottestMC" prod. by Harry Fraud. First shouts to Danny & Harry for this dope track (Harry w/ the Flute sample). So, MTV put out that list and it seems Danny is a little upset. But rappers, can we all please stop taking MTV lists seriously... Unless you want to be featured in between Teen Mom 2 re-runs...Either way this track is hot, so maybe the anger is good for this situation.

This morning, Danny Brown felt it necessary to drop a brand-new track, "#HottestMC", much to the delight of, well, everyone here at Potholes. He's been a favorite of ours for years and this cut displays every possible reason why that is: He spits with a versatile, on-and-off-beat flow; talks his sh*t without ever sounding preachy or overly boastful; and showcases his undeniable ear for beats going in over a guitar-heavy Harry Fraud production. Everything about "#HottestMC" proves why you need to listen to Brown and catch up on his discography if this is your introduction. STYLE.
![Jessie Ware – “Devotion” (Distinction Refix) [Potholes Premiere]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4750206_lg.jpg)
London-based producer Distinction made a name for himself last year with some notables remixes of PIMB favorites Danny Brown and Frank Ocean , among others. And now we can officially add Jessie Ware to that list, as Distinction has taken on the title track of her 2012 debut, Devotion . The tune focuses on her more breathy vocal moments, with some portions sounding like instruments instead of, you know, her voice . It almost reaches cloud rap levels of all-encompassing atmosphere and huge drums, which leaves me thinking the right MC [...]
