Paul White is most known for producing for Danny Brown, and is producing multiple tracks off of Danny Brown's upcoming  Old . He is also readying his own release, the EP Watch The Ants , and has just released a video for the eponymous track off of the EP. The track takes much of the sonic material of early Boards of Canada: children sing-songs, 702s television-show synths, and breakbeats, but makes something much different out of them. Where Boards of Canada create serene music for the point between sleep and waking, "Watch the Ants" is urgent, frantic and swampy. [...]

Dope Song is produced by Rustie (as if you couldn't tell) and is another in an increasingly long line of near-flawless rap pieces by Brown. It'll feature on his album Old, which can't come soon enough:

Danny Brown took the stage again for the second weekend of Coachella, during which he treated fans by debuting a brand new track. According to Danny , the track is entitled "Dope Song" and is a true banger with a pounding, infectious bass-line that's impossible to not want to wild out to. While we don't know for sure whether this will be on his upcoming Old , we do know that if this and " Kush Coma " are any indication of the material on the record, it's sure to be fantastic. Detroit rap personality Danny Brown is poised to take over the Bay Area this spring with a couple of live shows separated by a month-long gap. The first gig, on April 17 at The Independent, is a stop on Brown's "Worst of Both Worlds" co-headlining tour with Baauer . Last year, Brown collaborated on a track with Purity Ring , who will coincidentally be playing the same night at Bottom of the Hill. I wonder if they will meet halfway for burritos. [...]

London producer The Purist dropped his TR-ill E.P back in February featuring some  grimy dirty MPC funk featuring the likes of Danny Brown, Havoc of Mobb Deep , and Cas . Here we got the video for the first single Jealousy featuring Danny Brown ravaging the track with a line from the Biggie Smalls classic Ten Crack Commandments as the hook.  The video is made by Globodigital the same folks that cooked up the video for The Miracle by Homeboy Sandman. Danny Brown ,  who just celebrated his birthday in Austin by winning an MTVU Woodie Award, just leaked some new jams. "Kush Coma" is the first, and  is from his upcoming  Old  album, which is set to feature Rustie, A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Kitty Pryde, and Purity Ring as contributors. SKYWLKR and Paul White are involved in production, alongside beats from Darq E Freaker, Oh No and Warp signing Rustie.
