"Wit' It" was a manic bonus track added to the deluxe edition of XXX , and it makes sense that Danny Brown asked for Bijoux Altamirano to make the video a play on the old No Limit Records album covers from the '90s. You've got shimmering diamonds, live strippers and other assorted harlots, and some wild images of booty popping and, um, dildo use. Basically, this is the best Danny Brown video for one of the best Danny Brown songs.
Included as a bonus track on XXX , "Wit' It" is one of the trillist tracks you are going to hear. That is why Danny Brown called in director Bijoux Altamirano to cook up something extra saucy for the Detroit MC. Inspired by the flavorful .gif culture, this tacky video is filled with spiraling chrome and shaking asses. Look, I know that " You Never Asked " isn't exactly the best track to feature Mike Skinner (aka the Streets) and/or Danny Brown. But there's something endearing about the slightly messy nature of the track and its pseudo-dubby/poppy vibes. Maybe it's just me. Shrug. Anyway, Danny spits some quotables and it's kind of ill to see him on his Ichabod Crane in the song's video, if only because of his Crane-referencing line on Danny! As Hypetrak point out, it's worth noting the track has been floating around for a while but label New World Color label has officially released it yesterday. Danny himself has tweeted saying that the "shit old as fuck." But hey, we'll take it.
