The ninth Mondo Mystery Movie screening on October 29th was the biggest, craziest Mondo show to date. As always, the film title of the screening was kept top secret and the red herring was revealed as the unsuspecting audience showed up at a church only to find 16 charter buses waiting to take them to the real location, a shopping mall. As the buses pulled up, ticket holders knew what they were in for, as zombies slowly started oozing out the front of [...]
Is there a movie that represents the pinnacle of zombie movies more than Dawn of the Dead? I think not. It perfectly encapsulates the social critique inherent in the genre. Seriously - it's set in a fucking mall. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a few graduate theses written ...
I'm a sucker for a good horror movie (an even bigger sucker for a horrible horror movie), a few friends, and doing scary things like wander up to a cemetery at midnight ( esp. Stepp Cemetary) or exploring an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. Indy even has an abandoned asylum and an abandoned [...]
Oh, I love Zombie movies! The remake of "Dawn Of The Dead" is a cool one. And "28 Days Later" is also really nice. I love it how the Zombies move so fast in that movie. Scary shit. Another really funny one is "Dead Set" where a zombie outbreak strands the housemates and production staff inside a Big Brother house, and it quickly becomes a shelter from the undead. Ask me anything

Dawn of the Dead - Does It Offend You, Yeah?
Psycho? The Exorcist? Halloween? Listen, if you dare
good news, everyone. as professor hubert j. farnsworth might say. goblin confirmed for supersonic. so what better way to kick off my supersonic preview series than blathering on for a bit about those mad italian prog bastards. one of my first movie loves (lusts?) was romero's dawn of the dead. not only did it introduce me [...]

Nice'N'Short, I promish....well...nice anyways. DIOYY? har i starten af 2008 udgivet et album, You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into (eller YHNIWYGYI - tak gud [...]
You might have guessed from the lack of posts on the site that I wasn't really making time for posting in the past week or so. Combining moving apartments, being really busy at work and setting out an a pretty solid roadtrip with a couple friends, I had no time to write. But, I just spent the whole morning going through my e-mails/press releases and lining up what I'm going to cover here on the site for the next couple of days. So expect some content. Speaking of road trips, I just came back from Indianapolis [...]
As below , more catching up... Dan also sent me a link for William Friedkin's list of 13 Must-See Horror Movies . This would have made great sense to post around Halloween when he sent it to me, but Christmas can also be pretty scary. Have you been to the mall yet? And there are Christmas horror movies, sick as that may strike you. Dead of Night (1945) [the second segment, a ghost story set at a Christmas party], Tales from the Crypt [...]
