I suppose "Latest" might not be such an appropriate label, as "Dead Pontoon" has existed for over two years now, albeit only on the hard-drive of Chaz Bundwick, better known as Toro y Moi. He recorded the song in 2009, along with an entire album that will be released in April called June 2009 . Everyone's favourite quintet-from-Nottingham , Dog Is Dead , have announced details of an extensive jaunt around the UK - which includes a new show at the Borderline in London on March 15th - and a brand new single ' Two Devils' which is set for release on March 5th via Atlantic Records. Just a few weeks after celebrating his 80th birthday, legendary blues guitarist Hubert Sumlin succumbed to heart failure at a hospital in Wayne, New Jersey earlier today according to the Houston Press [via CoS ]. Sumlin, who was cited as an influence by a generation-spanning list of notable guitarists ranging from Warren Haynes to Keith Richards to Eric Clapton, was the primary guitarist in Howlin' Wolf's band from the mid '50s until Wolf's death in 1976.
