Deadmau5 hasn't dropped an official music video in over 3 years, since 20092s "Ghosts 'N' Stuff." It's only fitting that "The Veldt" got the visual treatment, as it's inspired by the Ray Bradbury short story - which is a script for a movie in itself. The song describes a world in which technology has fully taken over modern culture, to the point where the outside world has disappeared. That would explain the creation of "The Veldt", a tune inspired by the eponymous Ray Bradbury short story about two children named Peter and Wendy who become obsessed with virtual reality and freeing themselves of their real-world burdens. Deadmau5 is back with this new EP 'The Veldt' which is first part of EP series that will be released later this year. 'The Veldt'is a chilled out journey with thumping four on the floor beat and smooth vocal delivery from Chris James. Perfect tune to close your set I suppose. The EP also featured a bangion' hiphop track 'Failbait' featuring Cypress Hill and remixes of the tittled track from Freeform Five and Tommy Trash. Tommy previewed the track on Pete Tong's Radio 1 show. The remix is more explosive with a more uptempo beat and massive drop while keep the essence of the track intact.
