From: London & Leeds, UK, via Grenoble, France Lazy equation: (Devil Sold His Soul + Dead Swans) x a degree less wanton chest-beating. URL: Website // Facebook Thrash Hits Verdict:
At some point, the UK hardcore bubble of recent years is going to burst. Like it or not, the part-timers will at some point get bored, and the resurgence that has revitalised the country's scene over the last few years will retract, implode, and then retreat back to the underground for [...]

UK-based Dead Swans will be recording a new EP in 2012 titled Anxiety and Everything Else . The hardcore band's guitarist said this: The new EP is the same Dead Swans you know, but we've stepped it up a level. The group has also announced a European headlining tour to be supported by Philadelphia's Horror Show .

Sometimes a little too much time passes on H-T-A between the more metallic content posts, depending on the whims of current listening. This week has ushered in some more aggressive sounds, however, so it's high time to catch up on the murky underworld of the heavy stuff. So, what's new? As always when October rolls around, the nights draw in and the temperatures drop, the beautiful bleakness of Katatonia surges up the listening charts. Well timed this year, as the [...]
Almost certainly when you read this, the great and the good from Thrash Hits will probably be passed out drunk in the fields surrounding Reading & Leeds Festivals respectively. But even the weight of an incredible drunken stupor isn't enough to keep Thrash Hits from giving you a Spotify Sunday Slaylist taster of what looks like the last great festival stage line-up of the summer: the Thrash Hits-sponsored Hardcore Stage from next weekend's Offset Festival . Just take a look at the line-up that's been assembled for the stage's [...]
Matt Kean , bassist for Britain’s hottest deathcore outfit, Bring Me The Horizon , took a couple of minutes to talk about his rather uneventful year. Clearly, after a solid stint of touring, he just wants to go home. Bless. What was your highlight of 2008? Playing the Warped Tour in the USA. What's the worst thing that happened to you in 2008? Nothing really! I think [...]
