Copeland Farewell Tour Concert Review It was a bittersweet show last Wednesday (March 10, 2010) at Toronto's Opera House. Copeland fans gathered to watch them preform what may be the band's last show in Toronto EVER. The band, hailing from Lakeland, Florida, has been active for about 9 years. Copeland announced of the band's "move on from Copeland and follow other paths in our lives" on October 29, 2009 on their MySpace blog . Deas Vail (Latin for "Humble Servant of God") frontman Wes Blaylock's falsetto blew me away the first time I heard them sing their song "Shoreline." It completely comes out of nowhere and is unique in the music landscape today. Teamed up with his wife, Laura, on the piano and synth, they combine to create a one-of-a-kind sound.
