Diamond Rugs is a band made up of two guys from Deer Tick plus members of the Black Lips, Los Lobos, Six Finger Satellite and Dead Confederate . The band plans a self-titled album in late April, and, according to its publicists, some of the songs on the release are being previewed at 50 strip clubs across the U.S. No reviews yet. The music festival will be going into its 11th year Memorial Day Weekend (5/25-5/28) at The Gorge in George, WA featuring headliners Jack White, Beck, and Bon Iver along with the Shins, Girl Talk, Portlandia Live, Feist, St. Vincent, the Walkmen, Spiritualized, Shabazz Palaces, and dozens more. The album, which was released late last year in America, will get a UK release this April (2nd) via Loose Music. The band are also set to play The Garage on April 4th.
