I don't know if you guys will agree or not, but I frickin' love Green Day . Their music just plain does it for me. Unpretentious, wonderful, upbeat, pop-punk. They love creating music, and I love listening to their creations. The guys will be releasing multiple new albums in the coming year, Uno , Dos , and Tres . Jack Tatum and co are back with a new album this month. Nocturne is apparently based on the lunar cycle, which I find to be a pretty neat idea. I brought you guys something from The Darlingtons a while back, and, as I recall, I was totally stoked on them. Turns out my stokage was well-placed. In his email to me, Josh Drew says that they just finished recording their first EP; I must admit I was surprised by the production quality. Normally a first EP is a low budget affair (we hear plenty of these via MTIB email...), but this was altogether different.
