Diplo, the ringleader of the Mad Decent label, has generously released a remix mixtape today called Free Gucci that enlists Gucci Mane remixes from various producers and artists. They have remixed material from Cold War , Gucci's mixtape trilogy. The free mixtape takes on a second meaning, considering Gucci Mane has been locked away in prison since November for violation of probation. The hype continues to build for one of the most exciting mixtape in a long time. 2009 saw Gucci Mane set the rap game on its ear, much as Lil Wayne did in 2008. Mad Decent 's given out this free Diplo and Jayou dubstep remix of The Partysquad to wrap up the label's final installment of the HOLLERTRONIX series. Here's an interesting interview conducted by CTRL (a Top Man yokey) with Diplo where he reveals he is working with Rolo Tomassi, Sleigh Bells and Lil Jon, his love of metal and the artists that are doing it for him right now.
