La tracklist è in fondo a questo articolo, mentre l’antipasto è il singolo “Gun has no trigger”. Il disco è stato registrato da Dave Longstreth, che è anche alla produzione e al mixer, ed è il risultato di un labor limae partito da 70 canzoni, portate poi a 40 demo e infine alle 12 tracce del lavoro finito. This past Monday Major Lazer (Diplo + Switch) released their dreamy summer track "Get Free" featuring Dirty Projector's lead singer and venturing solo artist Amber Coffman. "Get Free" cruises along with it's arm out the window at an easy 88bpm, wind in it's face, with Amber's powerful and eerie vocals howling, pushing a solid summer groove. The Projects' own San Francisco based techno producer Nolan Gray's remix of "Get Free" takes a fantastic song deeper into the club by stepping on the gas and bringing the bpm up to a danceable 108. Though I'm not completely sold on Major Lazer (DJ Diplo and Switch) being better as a duo than solo acts, I'll still share this one because of Amber ala Dirty Projectors being in the track. You can download the song & a Bonde De Role remix for free here .

He might not be dapper, but this cartoon can dagger. Major Lazer, the souped-up, one-armed, 802s-style animated soldier alter ego of Diplo and Switch, switches gears from his usual cage-dancing jump-offs to a slower, more heartfelt anthem with "Get Free," featuring vocals from Dirty Projectors' Amber Coffman. The collaboration highlights what both sides do best; the DJs' irresistible hooks coupled with Coffman's detached wailing creates a post-apocalyptic odyssey of a track, a vibe their video plays off as it follows Lazer from piles of dinosaur bones to open space, where he's destined to shoot lasers into the nothingness alone. Last month Major Lazer previewed "Get Free," a track for which Diplo recruited Dirty Projectors siren Amber Coffman. Well now, it's out today, and downloadable at majorlazergetfree.com for the price of an email. It's good! There's a video, too, featuring Major Lazer's cartoon dancehall commando sitting on a pile of dinosaur bones and staring off meaningfully into the sunrise, thinking about Amber's inspirational lyrics and swept up in the track's wistful melancholy. The duo of Diplo and Switch,more commonly known as Major Lazer , have finally dropped their new single "Get Free". It's a amazingly sublime track that's a whole lot more mellow than any Major Lazer output to date, and draws more on the tradition of Roots Reggae ,  than the Dancehall based vibe that we're used to receiving from them, and it turned out beautifully .
