Disclosure's latest track 'You & Me', a vocal driven garage anthem with a wonderful video to boot, has recently gotten the remix treatment from Baauer, the beloved and hated creator of 'The Harlem Shake'. My first concern regarding this remix was the style that Baauer has helped to propagate - big, cheesy 808 trap bass tracks with very little concern for movement or feeling. Premiering on Zane Lowe earlier today, Baauer injects deep percussive beats, revamping the original with a surge of synths that builds into a powerful summer jam. When Baauer dropped this at Coachella, it's safe to say the 2 minute RIP went completely viral. So it's nice that this massive remix was finally uploaded. Anytime you see to artist like Disclosure and Baauer in the same title, you can expect big things. And with the flawless vocals work done to Eliza Doolittle 's voice, this track is sure to find it's way into plenty of artists sets. Especially the splicing and edits around 3:15, none the less this remix has it all. Cheers.
