Disclosure dropped by BBC's Maida Vale Studios today, where they performed a live in-studio session for Zane Lowe 's radio programme. During the session, Howard and Guy Lawrence debuted a new track from their upcoming debut album Settle , a slick banger titled "F for You." Pulsating with a four on the floor beat, the song is catchy as hell. As per usual, these brothers are killin' it. Stream it below along with in-studio performances of "You & Me" with Eliza Doolittle and "You Used To Hold Me" with singer Natalie Duncan.
I know that the Daft Punk album just came out and everything, but I can't shake the feeling that Disclosure's upcoming release is going to be the record of the summer. They already have an absolutely scorching trio of singles ahead of Settle and there are no signs of that momentum slowing down. They stopped by with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 to perform "For For You", another track forthcoming on that debut record. British duo Disclosure have an incredible knack for pairing their electronic beats with incredible vocal talents. They did it earlier this year with "White Noise." They did it again with "You & Me." The list goes on and on, but last year's "Latch" is perhaps their best. Bringing in British singer Sam Smith , they unleashed one hell of a single. Amongst all the synthesizers and bass kicks it can be difficult to realize just how beautiful and intimate Smith's lyrics are. Daft Punk came in early today with a "Get Lucky" and tried to steal Friday for themselves, but now Disclosure is putting in their bid for this weekend's go-to anthem. "You & Me" is the duo's next single slated to appear on their forthcoming LP Settle and a new EP. Hudson Mohawke has been a pretty busy man over the last few months. Whether he's producing records for the likes of Kanye West and Azealia Banks, bringing Trap to the masses with TNGHT, or making sushi infinitely cooler with his solo work, he remains to be Scotland's most in demand producer at the moment (sorry Calvin Harris). When Disclosure released "White Noise", their collaboration with AlunaGeorge last month, we described it as "Nothing short of brilliant", and it has since reached number two in the UK singles chart, becoming the duo's most successful track yet. Hudson Mohawke is back on his remixin' tip after gettin' all romantic on us yesterday for Valentine's Day . He just dropped his bursting take on Disclosure and Aluna Francis' great new single, " White Noise ". It leaves me hopeful that, if nothing else, we'll be hearing HudMo do the damn thing with other tracks this year. And if he doesn't, well, at least we have this neon-flavored remix. Finally give Disclosure a shot, starting with their AlunaGeorge featured song "White Noise". Liking it a lot. Incredible beat with some selling vocals. I would much prefer to hear this at bars/clubs that the same recycled Rihanna bullshiiitt.
