Earlier this week Divine Interface delivered a first listen on to XLR8R's download page. Its a rebirth of his tune, 'Fool Me', which was previously blogged about late last year. John Howes' Spontaneous Rhythm label drops a short compilation enclosing selected tracks from their artists releases this past year. Some really pristine and ground-breaking sounds coming from this label, bringing in some of the first of it's kind. Divine Interface aka Drew made a track especially for this release entitled, 'Cancellations', and by all means pans out to be one of my favorites by him. Atlanta's ghetto lo-fi dreamer, Divine Interface , gets ready to drop his upcoming debut EP, Color Ways , on John Howes' label, Spontaneous Rhythm . Drew gave XLR8R a tease off what's to come from the EP with the track,'Folklore'. A down-tempo bass defying rhythm intertwined with a jiving vocal sample that steadily uptake a glorious march of pacifying pleasure. It's one genius piece of work. Fresh in the inbox this morning was an email from Divine Interface , a local producer by the name of Drew Briggs. He's got some great low-key beats and sounds posted up at his soundcloud page including a remix to Toro Y Moi 's "Still Sound." I also noticed he is posting music under the moniker Kush Lord as well, and he's got two particularly chill jams up there labeled as "dream funk."
