Don't let the song title throw you off. Minneapolis band Night Moves ' "Country Queen" is a fantastic anthem from their increasingly hyped Colored Emotions LP, which is set for release October 9 via Domino . The single comes months after the release of their "Headlights" 7", which you should take your time to listen to below as well.

An all round well crafted album in terms of sound and lyrics, using a timeless style that can’t really be faulted but the style might override and under mind the music slightly.

Animal Collective are streaming their new album, Centipede Hz , over at their website . In addition to the album stream, there are some pretty crazy videos courtesy of Abby Portner. The album is scheduled for release on September 3rd through Domino Records and can be pre-ordered here .

Directed by fellow Baltimore native Ben O'Brien, Dan Deacon's newest video for "True Thrush," features collective works from the city's art group Wham City . Shooting in less than an hour, the video features Deacon, O'Brien, members of Wham City, Future Islands, and others playing a game that Wham City "loosely" based on the game telephone. Danny Perez is the director behind Hot Chip's latest video for "Look At Where We Are". The original song is taken from the band's fifth album, "In Our Heads". P.S. Hot Chip had one of the strongest live performances on this year's Lovebox Festival in London!

Diplo may very well be one of the most prolific and experimental producers in dance music today. He has fostered countless artists with his Mad Decent label, created intense dancehall anthems, embraced the moombahton movement, and now he takes a shot at the up-and-coming trap sound. Major Lazer takes a track from Hot Chip and remixes the funk out of it. “Look At Where We Are,” was one of the slower tracks off of In Our Heads, but Diplo have no trouble putting their thumb print on the track in a big way.
