Entertainment Weekly of all things reported yesterday that Wilco is giving away recordings of two shows from last year. One of the two includes last year's show in Coney Island, NYC , which had guest appearances Feist , Yo La Tengo , and Ed Droste from Grizzly Bear . The other is from last November in London. There is no telling how many people have died (the current toll is over 50,000 and climbing by the minute) and a lot more than that have had their lives destroyed. Chambers singer, Dan Pelic has recently been in and out of the hospital due to his Crohn's Disease. As yet another great example of how awesome our country's health care system is, Dan has piled up thousands of dollars worth of medical bills. Austin's awesome Riverboat Gamblers were an amazing find at last year's SXSW . Fueled with an incredible punk rock spirit, they're a band that would make even Johnny Rotten's trademark scowl turn upside down. Sadly, one of their guitarists, Ian Mcdougall, had a pretty serious accident last Saturday, when a car hit him on his bike. He sustained some rather serious injuries and is now in recovery.
