As you would expect, this EP from D Numbers' Brian Mayhall is an eclectic collection of tracks that defy categorisation. No bad thing. Opener 'Insects' is a sparse affair, a combo of mournful melodica, whispered voices, staccato beats and bass that gradually gather pace but remain largely subdued. Australian producer Ta-ku shared today a gorgeous edit/rework of Daughter's magical single "Love," which is taken from the bands "The Wild Youth" EP released during 2012. After listening to more than 100 times, we had to share this work with you. Ta-ku's takes couldn't be better! If you already heard the original, you're going to adore this work.
