We all got love for Beyonce right? RIGHT! Well, Drake has too apparently, and to prove it he's unleashed new track, 'Girls Love Beyonce', onto the web with the help of James Fauntleroy, with whom he sings the chorus of Desinty's Child's 'Say My Name' in this number. The track itself is what we've come to know and love Drake for: a spacey slow-jam wrapped around an uneasy beat and reflective vocals. Perfect after dark vibes. Best of all, the thing is available to download too.
Even though he was one his more rugged shit for " 5AM In Toronto ", Drake isn't about to stick to his tough talkin'. He's immediately hopped back in lover-man/simp mode with guest James Fauntleroy of Cocaine 80s on the newly released "Girls Love Beyonce". I'm sure plenty of y'all will have fun picking on Drizzy for being softer on here, so have fun in the comments section. Everyone else, enjoy the So Far Gone -reminiscent cut. Stream/download "Girls Love Beyonce" below. As a bonus, stream the remix [...]
Drake takes us back to the days of Destiny Child by sampling "Say My Name" for "Girls Love Beyonce". This is the second song that was promised in last weeks interview with Elliot "Dog Whistle" Wilson. Simping at it's finest. Has a nice "So Far Gone" atmosphere.

On Drake 's proper debut, Thank Me Later , he lets the following words ring out on standout cut "Karaoke": "I was only trying to get ahead/But the spotlight makes you nervous." Yeah, it's your "typical emo Drizzy sh*t," but it also closed out the track perfectly. It also lent itself to some prime sampling by Chicago-based producer Different Sleep . On "Get Ahead", he slows down Drake's vocals a touch and intricately weaves them through some ethereal layers. You can stream and/or download the track below. Don't worry if you start to fade, just embrace it.

Sounds like Drake aggy at somebody because he firing some shots on here. Best thing about it is I'm hearing that this isn't the last time we will be hearing him speak out on what's on his mind. Production by Boi-1-da The post Drake - 5AM in Toronto [Music] appeared first on Your Strongest Ally .

" Started From the Bottom " isn't a song that clicked with me right away for some reason. Here we are a few weeks outside of that singe release and Drake's monotone "Stawted from the bottom now we here!" hook has been stuck in my head for what feels like forever. The song's gotten its fair share of freestyles from every rapper ever, but not too many remixes yet. Thankfully, we have D33J, who takes the track into hazy new extremes while still letting that hook worm further and further into our heads. Check out a video of the track [...]
As per usual, Feature Cuts puts out a remix that kicks ass way better than the original, this time the original being by Drake, "Started From the Bottom." It's a hard-hitting and uptempo Dubstep remix. ..he transforms the street single into a more club friendly tune with heavy bass and a ton of energy. Also check out the remixed version of the original music video. Get the free download below! Show the love for Feature Cuts: [...]

Le gentil chanteur rnb Drake chante Started From The Bottom . C'est cool, c'est bien, c'est Drake , qui n'est plus comme il était quand il jouait dans la série Degrassi, rappelons le.

The night owls among you would of noticed that incredibly early this morning, Drake uploaded a new track to his blog (the first new material since 20112s "Take Care"). Originally not meant to be released for another nine days, "Started From The Bottom" is the first taste we get of his as yet untitled third album, and Drizzy has actually done our job for us, uploading the track with an accompanying note: "My good friends, It has truly been too long. I assume you're all keeping well and making the [...]

Chopping up 902s female R&B vocals has been done a lot, probably too much, but it's interesting that not too many people have messed around with Drake samples yet. His voice has a lot of the same characteristics that make those other samples sound so appealing, and producer Figgy gets the award for exploiting that. If you aren't paying very close attention, his remix of "Doing It Wrong" doesn't sound too much like Drake, just an ambiguous sample floating over the surprisingly warm production. Check out a stream of the track below and head to Xlr8r for a download.

So, Backstreet Boys are out of the picture and NKOTB need some backing to sell the tickets. So, in comes Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees. Let's see how this goes. For us, we'd go just for BIIM but we've seen them as a threesome and we didn't like it much - they were opening for Christina Aguilera of all people! If you're a Drake fan, then chances are you know two things. First, you're aware of his previous affiliation with Virginia rapper Nickelus F, though I've been told that they had a falling out a few years ago. Anyway, you probably also saw this video of Drizzy smoking hookah while a never-before-heard verse played in the background. Well it appears that worlds have collided here on "Number 153. It's the opening cut on Nickelus' new Vices album and it features the aforementioned Drake rhymes. Not only that, but it's all delivered over a [...]

With the new year right around the corner, the Hip-Hop Gods have blessed us one last time for 2012. Future Levert and Champagne Papi duetting over a Mike Will production is what dreams are made of, seriously. Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney's " The Girl is Mine " is black licorice compared to this Heavenly composition. Wayne had a certified banger with this one before he even rap-sang a single bar. Los Angeles-based producer Silkky Johnson 's stock continues to rise these days. He produced arguably the best track on the A$AP Mob compilation—the A$AP Rocky-starring "Thuggin' Noise—and has dropped choice singles with rappers like Western Tink . And on Johnson's latest release, the Debauched Legend mixtape, he also displays his killer remixing chops by taking ubiquitous singles like Drake's "Best I Ever Had" and French Montana's "Shot Caller" and making them sound 100 percent new. What I'm saying is you need to check this out immediately. Do that below. Download: Silkky Johnson [...]
