Ta-ku might have a new album coming on Jakarta Records along with an EP with Blu, but that's not stopping the Australian producer from pursuing other endeavors. He just announced a follow-up to last August's Re-Twerk EP that will hopefully be out soon. In addition to the announcement, Ta-ku dropped his own blend/flip of Destiny's Child "Say My Name" and Drake's " Girls Love Beyonce ". It gets a little hectic when Bey's vocals come in, but everything else is so damn good that you will probably be able to forget about that. You [...]

Australian producer Ta-Ku follows suit after Drake and James Fauntelroy and pays homage to the Queen B. It seems like the entire world has got an obsession with Mrs. Carter, but how could you not? She's beautiful, talented, interesting, and underneath at all you know she's got some bat-shit crazy in her after watching that documentary. Ta-Ku created "I Love Beyonce" using a sample from Destiny's Child "Say My Name," and "Girls Love Beyonce." The result is a brilliant re-work worthy of a few playbacks. Ta-ku – I Love Beyoncé [...]
Starting off todays Dojo we have Heroes and Villains throwing down an incredible remix of HYDRABADD and Abra's track "Sanctuary". Next is an upcoming artist named THEprinceOFbeats , and he samples tracks from Jay-Z , Pharell , and Timbaland , nothing more needs to be said. Functcase decides to run the trap with this isane tune being released on Circus titled "Out For Da Milli". MURAMASA switched it up a little with some uplifting 8-bit infused madness in this new tune titled "6-panel". Borgore and Carnage [...]
After the drop of Drake 's infectious tune "Girls Love Beyonce", DJ JAYBeatz took the time out to put his remix expertise on the new track. Bringing in a sample of Destiny's Child' s hit single "Say My Name" and Drake's verses for an interesting mashup. The two blend smoothly, and the airy and atmospheric flip of the R&B classic and Drake's emotional words make this remix equally infectious. Listen in.

JAYBeatz is back doing what he does best: making Drake exponentially more listenable. This time he pits the actual "Say My Name" with Drake's re-imagining of it on "Girls Love Beyoncé." Free download above in the SoundCloud widget or here . MP3: JAYBeatz - "We All Love Beyoncé" Mash-Up |
Beautiful new remix by the young producer JAYBeatz , mashing up Drake 's recent release "Girls Love Beyoncé" and Beyonce 's vocals from Destiny's Child's "Say My Name".
' No New Friends ', started out as a remix for Drake's track ' Started From The Bottom ', but after it was sent to DJ Khaled - it transformed into an entirely new beast. Drake, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Future (who was pointless) provided vocals to the Boi-1da & Noah “40″ Shebib, produced track. Not entirely sure what DJ Khaled contributes to these tracks, other than shouting DJ Khaled at the start. The collaborative track will be featured on Khaled’s seventh studio album Suffering From Success . The post DJ Khaled [...]

Starting off with the highly anticipated release from RL Grime & Salva , and it's their anthem worthy remix of Jamie Lidell 's track "What A Shame". Next is a rip from Bro Safari 's set at Ultra Music Festival this last weekend. It's a VIP of KillaGaham' s insane tune "Clowns". Hudson Mohawke has been teasing us with this track for a couple years now, so I figured it was about time to share a small clip of "Sweet Silverskin". The Trap phenom Alex Young is here with another [...]

In the thundering rain...Vancouver you understand, right? S/O to @breaghbrown for this one. posted by @clarkbs
Drake may be content exactly where he is, as "Started From The Bottom" maintains, but D33J wasn't happy with it. On his remix, the San Francisco DJ takes the hit out of the club and into a rainforest dance lounge furnished with hammocks and lit by candles. It gets there by way of faded, ambient layers, which season the undeniable catchiness of the original exquisitely. Download an mp3 here . Like the remix itself, the accompanying video for D33J's take on Drake's "Started From The Bottom" is beautifully obfuscated behind some tropical plants (sounds), a technicolor filter and plenty of melting reverb. It's like watching the remix forumulate within the recent Anticon-signee's own mind through some sort of drug-induced creative process. The storyboard of the mind is really something. It hasn't taken long at all for the remixes to roll out of Drake's new debut "Started From The Bottom" , with perhaps the most prolific thus far coming from Wiz Khalifa . Stream the output below, which is more or less the original for the first 2:15, at which point Wiz rips off some fast-spitting bars any fan can enjoy - touching upon ganja, money, and even his squashed beef with Waka Flocka.

Though "Started From The Bottom", the newest from Drake , was initially supposed to be premiered on Grammy night , that was apparently too long of a wait for the eternally pensive rapper/ singer who lit up the Internetz late last evening with an early self-leaking of the first sampling of his upcoming third studio effort, accompanied by a letter in which he gets on the defensive (in that kind-hearted, Drake type of way) about all the jokes being made of his (presumed) less-than-typical rap star come-up as a well-off teen soap actor. Of [...]

I've seen a ton of "best of" 2012 lists and I decided that I wanted to do my own. I asked Eric B to share his as well, so our favorites from last year are listed below. The truth is, I wanted to do a list of my top 10 albums but after I listened to many suggestions, I could only pick five. I didn't want to pick albums which only had a few songs that I liked; that isn't enough to include the whole album on the list. These five albums are a great listen the [...]

Well isn't this something. Symbols/Freshmore reppin' producer Figgy recently took on Drake's "Doing It Wrong" and abstracted Aubrey's crooning into an almost whispered falsetto over a dreamy house beat. This one is for the real late night heads getting into those real sensual vibes. Think Cyril Hahn and/or Maribou State. Figgy attains a transcendent middle ground between wispy synth work and heavy-handed emotion here and the results are spectacular. Stream and download below.
