Snoop Lion (a.k.a. Snoop Dogg , a.k.a. Snoop Doggy Dogg ) has taken quite a few surprising turns in recent years. First, there was his questionable guest verse on Katy Perry’s “California Girls” , which was definitely Snoop sounding his laziest, even if it did make the track more infectious. Then he convinced “Like a G6” stars The Cataracs to filter his voice through Autotune and crap out a hit single called “Wet” , which [...]
We all got love for Beyonce right? RIGHT! Well, Drake has too apparently, and to prove it he's unleashed new track, 'Girls Love Beyonce', onto the web with the help of James Fauntleroy, with whom he sings the chorus of Desinty's Child's 'Say My Name' in this number. The track itself is what we've come to know and love Drake for: a spacey slow-jam wrapped around an uneasy beat and reflective vocals. Perfect after dark vibes. Best of all, the thing is available to download too.
And we were just thinking that it was time for DJ Khaled , Drake and co. to release a summer-conquering radio rap anthem to rattle our trunks for the next several months. Cue the Boi-1da and Noah “40″ Shebib -produced "No New Friends," in which Drake continues his streak of writing perfectly meme-able hooks – "fuck all you niggas, except my niggas." Amen. Khaled's Suffering From Success album is out soon. Read more articles like [...]
Even though he was one his more rugged shit for " 5AM In Toronto ", Drake isn't about to stick to his tough talkin'. He's immediately hopped back in lover-man/simp mode with guest James Fauntleroy of Cocaine 80s on the newly released "Girls Love Beyonce". I'm sure plenty of y'all will have fun picking on Drizzy for being softer on here, so have fun in the comments section. Everyone else, enjoy the So Far Gone -reminiscent cut. Stream/download "Girls Love Beyonce" below. As a bonus, stream the remix [...]
Back in 2010 Jai Paul, from Rayners Lane, London, uploaded his first demo on his Soundcloud page and everybody went crazy overnight. One of those that loved Jai Paul´s first demo, "BTSTU“, was Drake that actually used it for his... READ MORE

Here's your reminder that Snoop Dogg's reggae album under the name Snoop Lion , Reincarnated , is very much a reality. The blunted rapper-singer just shared his latest single, "No Guns Allowed", featuring his daughter, Cori B., and Drake . That's right, Drizzy is down with the movement that, on this track, takes a peaceful stance against gun violence with some slick production by Major Lazer and Ariel Rechtshaid. You can listen below. Reincarnated drops April 23.

On Drake 's proper debut, Thank Me Later , he lets the following words ring out on standout cut "Karaoke": "I was only trying to get ahead/But the spotlight makes you nervous." Yeah, it's your "typical emo Drizzy sh*t," but it also closed out the track perfectly. It also lent itself to some prime sampling by Chicago-based producer Different Sleep . On "Get Ahead", he slows down Drake's vocals a touch and intricately weaves them through some ethereal layers. You can stream and/or download the track below. Don't worry if you start to fade, just embrace it.
Drake addresses Chris Brown incident in new song. Drake has released a new single, "5AM in Toronto". And just look at that Soundcloud embed below. Everyone couldn't wait to get a comment in....

Drizzy dropping new shit bi-weekly these days and I'm digging the first two leaks off his new jawn. "Started from the Bottom" and now "5am in Toronto." Very different flavors but both great.
Drake's next full-length has got to be one of the most hotly anticipated hip hop releases of 2013, and I have to admit that applies to me as well. While I wasn't in love with Drake's last album, Take Care , I did think it was an overall improvement to his rapping, singing, songwriting, production, and style. However, let's be honest here: " From The Bottom " was not one of Drake's better tracks. The beat and flow was a change of pace, but that doesn't mean it was good , ya know? [...]

You know when Drake decides to just snap on a track and prove that he can actually rap his ass off when he wants to? Well, that's what he's doing on his latest track, "5AM In Toronto", a Boi-1da-produced banger that dropped earlier this morning. He's spitting more straightforward, too, as I know some of y'all weren't feeling his more methodical, albeit confident, flow on " Started From The Bottom ". If his new album, Nothing Was The Same , sounds anything like that track and "5AM In Toronto", we're going to have a problem on our [...]

Drake drops a new single from his upcoming third full length. "Started From The Bottom" has a nice beat from Mike Zombie to get lifted to and Drizzy spits his usual flow with some R&B singing mid-way through. I never hate on the dude even if he is soft. Drake has three Grammy nods for Take Care . I'm sure his next album but received equally as well after hearing this first leak. DRAKE - STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM

The word on the street and in the media is, Drake is nominated for three Grammys, including Best Rap Album for Take Care , the rapper is going to extra lengths to make the night of the awards show his own by releasing a new single. The Grammy's will be held on February 10th, 2013, and Drake has promised a release of a new single entitled "Started From The Bottom" . We here at The Eargazm hate to play the waiting game, so we put in a little extra effort, [...]

The night owls among you would of noticed that incredibly early this morning, Drake uploaded a new track to his blog (the first new material since 20112s "Take Care"). Originally not meant to be released for another nine days, "Started From The Bottom" is the first taste we get of his as yet untitled third album, and Drizzy has actually done our job for us, uploading the track with an accompanying note: "My good friends, It has truly been too long. I assume you're all keeping well and making the [...]

Bottom's up; hear the new Drake song. Drake has released the new song, "Started from the Bottom". It's the first track from his forthcoming third album. Listen to it below. Drake posted his message with the song on his blog, October's Very Own: My good friends, It [...]

Originally set to drop the night of the Grammys (Feb. 10), Drake 's new single arrives early tonight. It's "Started from the Bottom", an airy banger produced by Mike Zombie. It's littered with piano licks, atmospheric synth touches, and some seriously heavy drums and bass. Where the track takes an interesting turn is in Drizzy's vocal approach, which is much more laid-back and in the pocket than normal. He sounds like he's got his feet up, celebrating the fact that he started from the bottom but now? He's here. Listen below and let us know what you [...]

Drake drops off the first offering from his yet-to-be-named third full length album. "Started From the Bottom" was produced by OVO signed beat maker Mike Zombie and I've got the feeling we'll be hearing a LOT of this hook for some time. Download the "Started From The Bottom" MP3 here via OvO . Drake - "Started From The Bottom" lyrics via RG. MP3: Drake - "Started From the Bottom" |

If you're a Drake fan, then chances are you know two things. First, you're aware of his previous affiliation with Virginia rapper Nickelus F, though I've been told that they had a falling out a few years ago. Anyway, you probably also saw this video of Drizzy smoking hookah while a never-before-heard verse played in the background. Well it appears that worlds have collided here on "Number 153. It's the opening cut on Nickelus' new Vices album and it features the aforementioned Drake rhymes. Not only that, but it's all delivered over a [...]

A$AP Rocky is not perfect but he's constantly pushing himself. When his debut mix-tape LiveLoveA$AP dropped in 2011, it was easy to write off Rocky as a one-dimensional lyricist who used a basic formula encapsulated by drunken and drugged-up swag rap, over lush, experimental production credited largely to Clams Casino . Though he mildly pushed the boundaries of his genre, the mix-tape proved unforgettable due to Rocky 's sub-par lyrical and rapping ability. After a six month delay, A$AP Rocky returns with a [...]
