After keeping the fans waiting, Drake releases the Yoann Lemoine -directed video for the Rihanna -assisted "Take Care." Drake also makes up for the extra wait with a video release for "HYFR (Hell Yeah Fu**in' Right)" featuring Lil Wayne . Watch the aesthetically pleasing videos after... Drake ~ Take Care Feat. Wow this is a real life. As promised, Drake drops 2 videos from Take Care . We loved the Drake quirks in the "Headlines" video and these new videos are greatness. "HYFR" is a Drake Bar Mitzvah retrospective with Weezy in Frank Ocean Panda mask and the traditional hebrew chair dance meme. "Take Care" with Rihanna is a more subdued artsy clip consumed with ornithology. Watch closely for the slow-mo Drake hands. [...]
Not only did Drake drop one big, long awaited video ("Take Care" with Rihanna), he decided to precede it by unveiling the new visuals for "HYFR" with Wayne via OVO, [...]
I guess Drake didn't feel like dropping one video was boss enough, so we get two.
The DRAKE 's new video, TAKE CARE premieres this good evening as the RIHANNA 's navy ass was gonna kill him if he didn't unleash the visuals any time soon, and to get you in the jolz mood here's a lil 'exclusive' preview.

The RIHANNA , The DRAKE and someone who should have been I, were all jpeged on the set of their new music video, TAKE CARE .

"I don't think I'm conscious of making monsters, Outta the women that I sponsor 'til it all goes bad" A rep for Drake responded on the rapper's behalf, stating there [...]
Looks like Drake's drunk-dialing scored him a hit but also may end up costing him more than any other man in known history. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a woman [...]
So thanks to me, we saw this Billy Sorrells video when it was at a wee 200k+ views. Oh, is it at 6.5 million views now? HYFR. What's even better is that the other day I heard this Drake song on Pandora while driving to work. Seeing the Billy Sorrells video, then hearing the song that inspired it, was really a game-changer for a song that was already good. And I say hell yeah. Hell yeah. Not sure what Wayne means when he says, "My nuts hang like ain't not curfew," though. [...]

There's been a load of "Take Care" remixes that have been hitting the web right and left since the album was released. Panic City's version of the story about love and pain is the first one that actually sounds just as enjoyable as the original. Believe me when I say this one is a banger. Download Drake Take Care (featuring Rihanna) (Panic City Remix) Drake Take Care (featuring Rihanna) (Panic City Remix)

Now this is what I wish house music was like. None of that standard Kaskade nonsense that borders on monotonous, and somehow a deep bass that catches your eye but doesn't sound like noise dubstep. San Francisco based DJ Panic City is top-shelf talent, and more than most, he understands what's worth listening to. He's prolific, too. Here's his latest release, a remix of Drake and Rihanna's excellent "Take Care." What I like most about this is it turns it into a seriously party-friendly song. And.. yes, that may not seem so hard to do, considering [...]

As blogosphere music geeks, we are all, myself included, prone to fits of indie snobbery. It’s just the way it goes, but sometimes said snobbery ensures that we’ll miss some pretty great records oftentimes based on an artist’s name alone. In the same way a film snob might dismiss a movie as awesome as, say, Point Break (dating myself much?), one of us indie snobs may turn our nose at the mere thought of listening to a new record by Stevie Nicks [...]

There are few songs in the world that are as honest-to-God, capital-p Perfect as Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" . The song, one of many crazy-beloved entries housed on the group's 1977 blockbuster classic Rumours , just feels like the result of the planets and stars aligning in a certain magical way; the soft, warm churn of the steady drum hits and guitar flourishes having the power to transport one's mind to a state of dreamy bliss from second one, and the somber heartache found in Stevie Nicks' distinctive rasp as she comes [...]

It's that time of year to look back on the past 12 months and say "what the hell happened to the last 12 months?!". It's also that time of year where us music bloggers and self-proclaimed critics take the time to put together some Best Of lists for your reading pleasure. They don't really mean a whole lot and you can love 'em or leave 'em, but it seems like the right thing to do to sum up the year in preparation of the next. This year we're featuring personal lists from all of our fantastic writers. [...]

Whether it be the release of his 2nd album Take Care , beefing with Common , or fans getting his name tattooed on their bodies, his name has stayed relevant. The YMCMB artist released the video for his single The Motto with special features by Lil Wayne and fellow label mate Tyga . Peep the video below: Drake ~ The Motto Featuring Lil [...]
