With the Weeknd's Trilogy LP dropping next week, he brings us a video for "The Zone" featuring Drake.  This one originally appeared on The Weeknd's Thursday mixtape, which is one of three that is being repackaged in the form of the Trilogy album.  The video is solid. Check it out below.

Abel Tesfaye rounds out a busy week, which included the release of new songs "Valerie" and "Twenty Eight," with an official video for "The Zone." The track, originally featured on The Weeknd 's second mixtape, Thursday , makes a remastered appearance on his upcoming major label debut, Trilogy . Wow, The Weeknd is on a hot streak with releasing something new every week. It would have been nice to see a lot of these things come out when the actual songs were dropped but whatever. Trilogy next Tuesday 11/13.

Last year, Toronto sad-loverman icons and mutual admirers the Weeknd and Drake linked up for "The Zone," a haunted and numb track from the Weeknd's Thursday mixtape. Next week, the Weeknd releases the three EPs he dropped last year, repackaged and remastered as Trilogy . So it's a good time for "The Zone" to get a video, one that throws Drizzy and the Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye into a flickering, Lost Highway -inspired partyscape. Late last night while most of us were sleeping—literally, not on some "don't sleep!" shit— the Weeknd continued his recent blitz of new material with some visuals for  Thursday standout "The Zone". As everyone know at this point, the track features Drake, whose name wasn't on the credits. And luckily for all the Drizzy fans out there, he makes an appearance in the dark, kind of strange video that Abel Tesfaye directed himself. With Trilogy set to drop on November 13th, anticipation's building around The Weeknd , so the time is right for him to release a video for "The Zone," which features a verse from Drake . The whole vibe of the video fits perfectly into both Drake and The Weeknd's whole "ruminating in a corner alone during the after-party" vibe.

The WEEKND 's new video, THE ZONE , has arrived and she features the DRAKE on some vocals, whose verses I have memorised perfectly, alongside an almost exposed female who's crying.
