Ricky Rozay may or may not be a true street hustler but he's still a hustler, no doubt. Couldn't get Jay and Dre in the same place, at the same [...]

In order to keep things straight in the increasingly complicated "what goes on what" Maybach Music release jungle, this monster of a collaboration is not from yet another Ricky Rozay mixtape nor from the recently dropped MMG compilation Self Made Vol. 2 , but rather Ross' long-in-the-making fifth solo effort God Forgives, I Don't . With the potential confusion over that now settled, "3 Kings" is also far from the mind-melting musical equivalent of a 3D summer blockbuster one would think it to be considering [...]

It's been a while since I've posted anything from beardyman Rick Ross, but the latest track from his soon-to-be-released album God Forgives But I Don't is as good a reason as I need to break the drought. Rozay has linked up with a couple of elder statesmen (Jay-Z and Dr Dre) to drop a tune by the name of '3 Kings', backed by a soulful, piano-backed beat from producer Jake One. Actually, special mention to Jake for this beat. I was so engrossed in it that I almost missed a couple [...]
It took me a while to form an opinion on this track. Whenever you see monster collaborations like this, it is only natural to set the bar incredibly high. My initial reaction was that this didn't quite meet my expectations. After a few listens, though, it has grown on me considerably. We can't be too hard on the Doctor's opening verse considering he has only released a handful of bars in the last decade. On this, he borrows the Boss's flow and delivers a decent verse. There isn't much to say about Ross's contribution, as it was exactly [...]

Rick Ross teams up with Dr Dre and Jay Z to bring you Three Kings, produced by Jake One. mp3

We're not the biggest Rick Ross fans here at Potholes, especially because dude's been coasting along with the same sound for more than a year. But when it comes to "3 Kings"-the newest leak off his upcoming God Forgives, I Don't album-we're nothing if not completely impressed. Yeah, he and Dr. Dre aren't exactly that impressive, but that Jake One beat? DAMN. Also, Jay-Z comes in at the 2:23 mark and just bodies the track.

Rick Ross leaks a new track off his upcoming God Forgives, I Don't album, "3 Kings" featuring Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and produced by Jake One.

The highly anticipated Dr. Dre x Jay-Z x Rick Ross collaboration off Ross' album God Forgives, I Don't , which drops July 31st on Maybach Music / Def Jam. Production courtesy of Jake One. Some premium bars from all, but Jay murdered this one.. ex D-boy used to park my Beamer / Now look at me, I could park at my own arena

Rozay couldn't afford another brick. Fucking finally. Rawse should be counting his lucky Maybach stars this track, as has been the case with much of what's been released of God Forgives, I Don't , isn't trash ("Hold Me Back" anyone?). Jake One's production is the star here, Dre sounds solid, Hov sounds tired, and Ross sounds meh, but the production, yessssss! God forgives, b3sci don't Rick Ross ( Facebook ) Rating 8.0
Instead of the normal write up, let's switch it up a bit for Ricky Rozay's highly anticipated "3 Kings." We'll discuss each of the song participants Twitter style. For those [...]

More often than not, a Dr. Dre cosign is strictly speculation until he actually steps into the booth on the artist's behalf. That said, the Good Doc must have felt [...]
