Obviously Ive not been posting that much over the past couple weeks. BUT, I return bearing gifts of dopeness for all the cool kids of the world. Rhymefest - Super Guy Feat. Killa Mike This is a great song for hip-hop fans/comic book nerds. Im not a comic nerd but I watched the hell outta those cartoons as a kids. The beat is incredibly creative too. Listen for yourself. When I first saw this track I went from "Yes! More confirmation that Detox is on the way." Then I saw it was an unreleased joint from a couple of years ago and went "Damn, fooled again by early blogging reports." In any case, you see the line up and the track is ill. You're still welcome Download: Eminem feat. Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Ca$his & Stat Quo - "Syllables" / Hulkshare

Wow, Eminem has made a good one! " Syllables" is primarily his attack on commercial music. It features a phony pop hook and a serious cast heavy-hitters to back him up. A deceptively mellow beat glides in the background, allowing the rappers to display their lyrical prowess. This track is a must have. Eminem Feat. Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo, and Ca$his- Syllables *** SPREAD THE LOVE. SHARE [...]

This joint is sort of a mandatory head-nod right now in the blogosphere, so consider this my salute to a pretty stacked track. Can't say that the hook is my favorite, but the beat feels like a dope throw-back in a sea of electro-dominant hip-hop singles out today. Download the track here (Hulkshare via NahRight ).

The torch is gonna burn out before it gets passed/Jay said it’s his last, then 50 and Em/Then what? Detox drops and what do we got then? What’s the matter, couldn’t get Kanye West ? No Diddy ? Sometimes these bloated super-posse cuts actually work, and this is one of those times. Post-“Kush,” the early signs for Detox have been encouraging. For those of you who didn’t get exactly what you wanted for Christmas, it’s not too late. The Scrooge McDuck turned Santa of Hip-Hop, Dr. Dre, has opened the vault and let loose another more highly coveted record for your listening pleasure. The unearthed song, "Syllables," sounds a bit dated, hosting appearances from now ex-Aftermath soldier Stat Quo in addition to a quick verse from long-forgotten Ca$his, who's surprisingly still signed to Interscope for purposes unknown. But the heavyweight headliners - 50, Hov, Dre, and Em - are the obvious main attractions. Marshall’s style is very obviously [...]
This track leaked out yesterday and apparently it's not something off of Detox, but an old unreleased track that never made it onto Em's album I'm guessing. Pretty stacked line-up with Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Stat Quo and Ca$his. Download: Eminem ft. Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo & Ca$his "Syllables" [...]

Wow. Even though you would be blown away by the lineup you should really be blown away. The song is obviously old with that guy Ca$his but it is dope nevertheless. I can't stop listening to this song right now because this is actually what the music from these guys should sound like. Instead of getting all of these whack attempts at new school from Dr. Dre we get a song that actually goes. 50 Cent goes and I mean goes on this one. Long live the king haahahahha. I miss his good music though. Eminem [...]
New music from Eminem, Jay, Dre, 50, Stat Quo & Ca$his which is rumored to be tied to Dre's long-overdue album, Detox .

Eminem Seems like 2010 was the year of the posse cut. Kanye West served them best with his weekly G.O.O.D. Music tracks. But just in time to end the year off right, Eminem drops a previously unreleased track called "Syllables," a slow-riding banger featuring Jay-Z , Dr. Dre , and 50 Cent . But don't expect this to be a radio-friendly joint. "Syllables" blasts just that. "It is not about lyrics anymore. It's about a hot beat and a catchy hook," [...]

2010 comes to an end with perhaps the most star-powered jam of the year. Below, check out the Eminem, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo, and Ca$his-featuring "Syllables". No word on its origin, but we're already dreaming of a "Swagga Like Us"-type performance at next year's Grammys. Too bad our Artist of the Year couldn't make it. Image via Punch Bowl Blog .
Rah. At first that was my reaction, then was like WTF @ Ca$his and Stat Quo's inclusion on this track but Shake later announced that this track is a few years old. So much for hoping Detox was coming real soon. I'm definitely feeling this beat, it's classic Dre and some of the verses are [...]

Yesterday Twitter was aflutter with the possibility of an all-star collab called "Syllables", featuring Eminem, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. Voila! Less than a day later the track dropped on the net. No word yet if this is from Dr. Dre's forthcoming Detox , but that won't stop you from soaking it up anyway. Jump below to listen to song about the sorry state of songwriting. Here's the track we've been hearing about. As with everything Dre related, some people are claiming this will be on Detox , but I don't know about that. Actually, I don't know much about it other than it's origins are old (2007 according to UHTN ) and I heard it was supposed to originally be a Cashis track, but here it is with a few other guys you might recognize. If you've got more information on it, feel free to hit up the comments section. Credit to HHC . DOWNLOAD: Eminem [...]

Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium The difference between Jay-Z and Eminem is comparable to the difference between New York and Detroit. Historically, both have had incredible highs and recent lows. In spite of Kanye West , Chris Martin, Drake , and Beyoncé, Jay-Z was in control throughout his set and the unmistakable center of attention. Compared to Eminem, his set included much more; perhaps like New York, he might be too big to fail. Detroit and Eminem, however, still have work to do to reinvent or re-invigorate and at the moment, [...]
