Cudderisback. No, really. The Man on the Moon is back. After showing his rapping self for a capricious 30 seconds on Hit-Boy 's "Old School Caddy", the Kid Cudi of old made his full reappearance late last night on "Just What Iam", the first leak from his forthcoming Indicud album. Alongside him is another new (but not really) face: King Chip , the artist formerly known as Chip Tha Ripper and Cudi's longtime collaborator. Both artists kill it on some Cudder [...]
On God Forgives, I Don't, Florida rapper Rick Ross drops one drug lord delusion after another against a backdrop of beats that sound as lavash as Ross' persistent fantasies. WATCH THE REVIEW

Possibly influenced by his recent interview with Kendrick Lamar for Noisey, Heems teamed up with his Das Racist counterpart Kool A.D. to give us their unique take on Kendrick's huge Dre -tinged single, "The Recipe". Below, you can grab the MP3, which features the two Greedhead rappers lending their mellow rhymes to the equally mellow Scoop DeVille instrumental. Weed references everywhere, but I guess that's a given. MP3: Das Racist - "The Recipe [...]
After the stellar " Cartoons & Cereal ," Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar drops a new single, and land's a feature from none other than Dr. Dre. Of course, this special occasion needs a special instrumental. The beat here sounds bit more refined than the instrumentals Kendrick usually spits over, featuring loads of plucked and bowed strings. A distant female vocal sample adds another element of beauty, too. The lyrics tossed between Kendrick and Dre show pride in their hometown. Though other cities can be great, there's no place like home.
Listen to Kendrick Lamar 's new song "The Recipe" featuring Dr. Dre below. Having already released a fantastic debut album less than a year ago with "Section.803 , Kendrick Lamar hasn't let that stop him following it up already. Produced by Scoop DeVille and featuring the legendary Dr. Dre on verse duties, "The Recipe" is the first track from said album, due out later in the year, and catches you instantly with the hook and [...]
This post is a "QuickPick". QuickPicks are my attempt at getting all of the music that's sent to me that I like (or just music I like but have no words for because it's so awesome), out into the dubya dots. Any time I get sent music that I like I "star" it in Gmail and then go back and listen to it a day later. If it's still as good as it was a day before then it goes up on the site, but sometimes I get backlogged and can't get through writing [...]

When the Game isn't being bipolar he's capable of dropping some pretty good music but it doesn't last long before he's back to being bipolar again. If you're following him on Twitter you know first hand. Anyway he let go of this remix to Kush that may or may not be official (since he's in the camp I'd assume it was) and if you need a laugh (with or at the Game) you can check his tweets below of him mocking Lloyd Banks for his album sales last week . Seeing that his R.E.D. album doesn't even have a [...]

Despite all the doubt the mythical Detox album will indeed be hitting shelves come 2011. In a recent interview with Big Boi's neighborhood Dre discussed the reason for all the delays in Detox, there was a point where he felt like he was working on it out of obligation to the fans and there was no passion in it. Good thing all of that has changed as Eminem & Jay-Z's tour brought some much needed inspiration to the Doc. Just the other day we got the street leak from Detox titled " Kush " [...]

![[Listen/Rolling Stone's Top 500] – #302 – Eminem – “The Marshall Mathers LP”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/2747962_lg.jpg)
Released in 2000, this made the Guiness World Records for one of the fastest selling solo albums ever. In 2001 it won the Grammy for the Best Rap Album and also got a nomination for Best Album of the Year. Of all Eminem's albums, this was the most personal and serious. The topics were controversial talking about his own life as well as highlighting events of the Columbine High School massacre. There was so much controversy around the album that Canadian Attorneys tried to stop Eminem at the border when he was scheduled to perform at Toronto's Skydome. Regardless, it [...]

Cory Bannon, the dude behind +VIBES, sent this track to me back at the start of July and I'm only getting around to posting it today. sadface He's been doing mashups for past 9 months or so out of Boulder, Colorado, and is looking for more of an audience and that's why I'm here, so that all three of you get to hear it. He deserves it, all of the tunes on his Facebook page flow together well and some of the mashup staples (Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G.) make an appearance, but in a different way. He makes both heavyweights spit over [...]
I've not really been feeling The Hood Internet's last few mashups, in fact not since their mashup of Dr Dre and Class Actress , but this one I'm definitely feeling, and it may just be illegal. They've taken Yeasayer's "O.N.E.", thrown it into a bowl with Jump Jump Dance Dance's "Show Me The Night" (as remixed by Grum), mixed well until all lumps have gone, and then let it bake. Ok.....I apologise, that was cheesy. I won't do that again.....I obviously don't feel too bad about it though because then you wouldn't be reading it. [...]

In the run up to their hotly-tipped and much hyped appearances at SXSW this week, The Hood Internet have released their latest mashup featuring the dulcet tones of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg's "Nuthin' But A "G" Thang" laced over Class Actress' "Journal Of Ardency". It's chill. (via The Hood Internet ) [...]
