Lynn sent me this the other day and it made me laugh. OLD SCHOOL Looney Tunes totally ruled. Especially Speedy Gonzales and his crazy pothead cousin Slowpoke Rodriguez. 5-6 year old Jles totally loved this shit. According to Lynn's buddy, Slowpoke Rodriguez says: "La cucaracha/ya no puede caminar/porque no tiene/ porque le falta/ marijuana que fumar" Which means: "The cockroach/ can't walk any further/ because it doesn't have/ because it lacks/ marijuana to smoke" Silly Slowpoke... This is a pretty cool video that KC sent me. This math professor from Nova Scotia basically broke down the Beatles, and figured out how to replicate their "fresh" sound based on the mathematical patterns hidden in the chord/note progressions. This guy is a huge nerd, but, hey....respeck nerd.

The Fartz were Duff McKagan's pre-GNR hardcore band from Seattle. Duff played drums. They SUCKED. Belinda Carlisle (the Go-Go's) played drums in The Germs VERY briefly. The Nips were Shane MacGowan's pre-Pogues band. Not sure what to call it, but they're probably drunk. I called this playlist "heavy" at first because I intended to fill it with metal, but my IMEEM ADD took over and now it's all very loosely based around California hardcore. I watched this interview go down live today during the regular nonsense on CNBC and couldn't stop laughing my ass off at how terrible this promotion was.
