You might recall seeing footage from the Low End Theory this past March when Earl Sweatshirt performed new material alongside Mac Miller and Flying Lotus/Captain Murphy . If you didn't catch that video, then you're in luck. Hell, anyone is in luck, because we're finally seeing some crisp HD footage from the performance. It includes Captain Murphy doing some new stuff followed by Mac tackling his FlyLo-produced " S.D.S. ". That's followed by Earl's time onstage, which features a performance of " Whoa ", and even more from the Cap'n. Yes. You can [...]

by Andrew Sacher Mac Miller and Ab-Soul (via Macklemore's Instagram ) It's not too out of the ordinary when rappers I don't like collaborate or tour with rappers we do like, but Mac Miller has been up to it a lot lately. First, he did a track, "S.D.S," which was produced by Flying Lotus (and FlyLo fans shared a collective sigh of relief when the instrumental version came out). Then [...]
Earl x Coachella feat. Flying Lotus, Domo Genesis, Tyler The Creator & Vince Staples aka A Tumblr All-Star lineup. The punk rock energy that shadows Odd Future shows isn't apparent, far more chilled. New material is also performed. It's still death to live streams.
Earl Sweatshirt brought Tyler, the Creator out on stage during his set at some music festival this past weekend. The Golf Wang crew chief comes on stage for Earl's most recent single, "Whoa," which gets going around 12:25. Flying Lotus DJ's the whole thing, and, unsurprisingly, it seems like a good time was had. Indulge below.

Earl Sweatshirt made his Coachella debut this past weekend with an impressive 30-minute set featuring Flying Lotus as his DJ, which has been happening more often than not these days. And as you might imagine, Earl was joined by several of his cohorts including Domo Genesis , Tyler, the Creator , and Vince Staples . Tyler was on his usual bonkers live shit and we got treated to some previously unheard material off Earl's upcoming proper debut, Doris . Thankfully for everyone who wasn't there, someone ripped the YouTube stream and now we can [...]
![[SXSW]: Earl Sweatshirt @ Fader Fort (March 16, 2013)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4849195_lg.jpg)
I had no problem moving around Fader Fort or getting into photo pits or any of that stuff at all during SXSW. That all changed when it was time to see Earl Sweatshirt . Shouldn't be a surprise as the member of Odd Future had been virtually missing for a while, making these early shows a must see for everyone. Earl came out with Flying Lotus as his DJ (as Captain Murphy), and entertained with a well mannered set. For a relatively youngster, Earl has a fine command on the stage and was doing his thing with [...]
Here it is, our last recap-post from last week in Austin. If you're just getting caught up, you can dip back into Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , Friday . Otherwise, here now here is Tom going in on JT, Earl, and many more: Read More...

If you're one of the lucky folks who will hit up Tyler, the Creator's shows with Earl Sweatshirt , chances are you'll be treated to a pretty crazy rendition of the latter's new single, " Whoa ". Earl performed the track during his set at the Fader Fort while the SXSW festivities were going on in Austin, Texas last week. And even though Tyler couldn't make it out—and the crowd was kind of weak—the young OFWGKTA spitter held his own with a lil' help from Flying Lotus on the turntables. You can watch the performance below. [...]
This afternoon, Earl Sweatshirt, along with his DJ Captain Murphy aka Flying Lotus, hit the stage at the FADER FORT Presented by Converse. He tore through songs old and new, include this definite hit, "Whoa." ... read more
Earl Sweatshirt didn't have Tyler with him on stage at the Green Label Sound barbecue at SXSW, but Flying Lotus spun and the 19-year-old rapper had no problems handling all the words. He performed his latest track, "Whoa" in its entirety, tackling Tyler's verse and getting a little help from the audience, who was clearly already familiar with the brand new song. If you still haven't seen the excellent video for "Whoa," watch it here .
It's days like today that you might find George Michael's Outside seeping into your subconscious. It's the only place I'm pining for (aside from Austin) and the one I can't grasp at, however palpable it may be beyond the window. Though if you too have a hideous lounge-pop track playing away incessantly upstairs then you may want to indulge in the below... Sir Lanceloot is the alias of enigmatic US producer Superlative who, at the tender age of seventeen, has more pseudonyms than most of us have realisable hopes and dreams. So kudos [...]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =HSDcNF9SxTA I pretty much lost my shit when I watched this video of Earl Sweatshirt. He performed the new songs, 'Burgundy', 'Hive' and 'Guild', in Los Angeles, at the end of a Flying Lotus concert. His EP, EARL, I rank among the best releases of the last ten years and, while his two year absence from making music sucked some serious ballsack and 'Home' was kinda weak, 'Chum' was a continuation of where he left off. The first track he plays is 'Burgundy', a horn-swelling, cymbal-splashing Pharrell produced song. Hearing this, it's easy to draw further [...]

Earl performs some new songs at the Low End Theory in LA, with appearances from Flying Lotus and Mac Miller. The first track, "Burgandy," features production from Pharrell, while the second "Hive" is self-produced and will have guest spots from Cassie Veggies and Vince Staples. Mac Miller comes out to spit his verse on the the third and final track, "Guild," all of which are off Earl's debut album Doris , which will drop sometime this year. The prodigious, yet elusive Odd Future MC hasn't dropped anything in a minute , [...]
