Mr Oizo is known for being controversial and going against the grain of convention, not only in his production, but in his attitudes to the scene in which he is part of. This track however, doesn't utilize the heavily avante gard elements of some of his previous work and instead sits nicely in with material off Lambs Anger. So I guess The Creator's Project went up and got all the stems from Phoenix's 'Trying to Be Cool' and bestowed it upon us all. I've went through a few of the big numbered remixes and found Breakbot's disco delight, but also caught something a bit off the radar with Will Bloomfield's entrancing electro. Le label Ed Banger Records qui fête sa dixième année sortira finalement sa nouvelle et tant attendue compilation Ed Rec Vol. X le lundi 10 Juin prochain. Rien de mieux pour commencer les festivités que de vous balancer l'un des premiers extraits, à savoir le titre inédit de Cassius , Sunchild . Un morceau présenté par Zdar comme un hommage à l'une des figures emblématiques du label, DJ Mehdi qui nous a quitté il y a maintenant deux ans mais qui restera gravé dans nos esprits éternellement.
