Smith & Burrows have put together an entire album dedicated to Christmas, titled Funny Looking Angels. From that album they deliver the best Christmas song of 2011 in my opinion with 'When The Thames Froze'. Smith & Burrows consist of Tom Smith of Editors and Andy Burrows of Razorlight. They both have been friends for years and have developed their album on the idea of a Christmas theme. Smith & Burrows is a collaboration between singer Tom Smith from the Editors and drummer Andy Burrows of Razorlight. Their album, Funny Looking Angels was released in November and is a collection of Christmas covers with some originals mixed in. If you're looking to add a little indie-rock to your holiday playlist, then you're sure to enjoy the titled track:

I recently discovered this band, sadly coming late to the party. Hard to go wrong with British Indy Rock and this Birmingham band has such an eclectic catalogue of sounds that it's hard to not find something enjoyable for every taste.
