Screaming twenty-something girls, clad in the band’s t-shirts are something you’d expect from a group that has been around for years, not from one that has existed for under two. Depuis le succès de leur album Mondo , le groupe Electric Guest enchaîne date sur date et ne s'arrête plus dans leur tournée mondiale. Le 22 Octobre dernier ils ont sorti en toute discretion leur dernier single pour le titre Holiday , dernier morceau que nous découvrons dès maintenant avec beaucoup de plaisir. L'EP disponible uniquement en digital comprendra également les versions acoustiques des titres This Head I Hold et Awake .
Los Angeles-based band, Electric Guest , treated fans to an intimate, backyard performance on their Spotify Tour (above). Electric Guest is comprised of Asa Taccone and Cornbread (Matthew Compton), with friends who join them for live shows. Their debut record, Mondo, was produced by Danger Mouse. Also, EG was down under last month on tour and stopped by Triple J and performed a brilliant cover of Little Dragon's " Ritual Union ".

I thought Electric Guest ’s debut album Mondo would have performed a bit better, especially considering the Danger Mouse and Jorma Taccone connections, but nevertheless the duo are preparing to release a new EP called Holiday. The 1st single is the title track which is undeniably cool and features a smooth as hell chorus that will woo any dame right over. Holiday will be out October 22nd.
