Peep a refreshingly youthful music video from the Danish electro-soul artist, M Ø . With cascading rhythms, synthesizers and bells, her vocals and lyrics are perfectly complimented. Shot in a small Danish town called Hirtshals, words like "wanderlust" come to mind. According to the starlet, the video "tries to visualize the restlessness of a young person's mind. It reflects on a young girl's desire to do something but she has no idea what, how or where to begin." A pretty fitting statement for most of our [...]

The Friday tunes keep on rolling with this video treat from Cherub . The Tennessee avant-garde, electro-pop duo best known for the party anthem, "Doses & Mimosas" off their album, Mom & Dad , have released the official music video for the track, "Monogamy" on the same album. As one lucky cougar plays both members. Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber, in an up-scale New York hotel room, the funkfied and synth-filled tune gets you dancing regardless of your opinion on single partner relationships. Filled with balloons and bubbly, and a nice little snippet of "Roxxy", another dance number [...]

Mornings are usually hard to get through without good music to keep us going. Fortunately for us, we have a groove-y deep house remix of the sparkly electro-pop duo, IYES and their demo "Lighthouse". The UK team have been creeping up the music radar boasting tracks that carry soothing vocals contrasted by electro-dance beats and meticulously planned drops. Here, the fantastically female British DJ/producer, Hannah Wants has teamed up with the remarkable (and American) DJ, Chris Lawrence , for a delicious jam. Tune in to the deep bass or tune out to the refined vocals--either [...]

How To Dress Well releases a new creation from Chicago by-way of Brooklyn producer, Tom Krell. "Ocean Floor for Everything," showcases the experimentation behind some of the HTDW tracks mixing together a sound of ambiance, pop, and folk. I almost hear a hint of Justin Vernon influence in this track. Download: How To Dress Well - "Ocean Floor For Everything "

Mashup duo The White Panda released one hour of absolute energy last night. This mix is a mash of some of the best club hits from last year and some classic vocals from the past couple of years. There has been some talk today about a couple of these TWP originals being uncomfortably similar to some mashups from other artists out there, but we're not complaining. TWP continues to put out awesome material and they're one of the leaders in the mashup scene today, constantly pushing the element, without a doubt! Definitely make a point to see [...]

I think we should all be in agreement that Cut Copy owns the hell out of the already brilliant track, “Sail Away,” from the Rapture. The combination of both artists is smooth and natural. “Sail Away” will take you to wherever you want during this Friday the 13th.

Gotye has already taken in over 33 million views on the widely successful “Somebody That I Used To Know” single and Myndset has stepped in to cover the remix. The sped up tempo kills it, plain and simple. Only drawback is the vocals are stomped on a little bit by the music especially around the chorus, but all in all, it’s fresh. Download: Gotye Feat. Kimbra - “Somebody That I Used To Know” Myndset Remix

We all know Marvin Gaye had swag and was taken from all of us far too early, but his music lives on and the open playground to remix his classics makes for a great ode to his memory. Mercury, a pair of Swiss gentlemen have taken "Sunny" and pumped some new millennial groove into Marvin's track. I love the direction they took on this and how it makes me feel, but I'll let them tell you about the inspiration for "Sunny." " We would like to share our newest [...]

Penguin Prison takes a little journey over to some peeps at Occupy Wall Street for this new video, “Don’t Fuck With My Money.” Energized, 80's esque, pop music is my new taste of the month. 80's music is only fun for so many songs (2?), but material from artists like Penguin Prison are timeless in today's music market. Dance, Dance, Dance.

Download: Starchaser How about a little adrenaline rush on hump day? Listen to this HARD hitting electro track from Coyote Kisses. This Floridian duo consisting of two childhood buds, Bryce Bresnan and Joe Sussingham, blew up in the blogosphere recently and for good reason. Their tracks are hardcore yet still maintain a somewhat poppy feel. The drop in Starchaser 1 minute in takes you by surprise, and is simply "MAGMA". I'm loving this track and I hope you do too. Here's another one [...]
